We welcome you into our lives Hello! You have been in our hearts and and in our prayers. It is with love, admiration and gratitude that we write this letter to you. We want you to know that we are here for you and welcome you and your baby into our lives with unconditional love and nurturing support.

We want to share with you who we are and what kind of home your child will grow up in.
We live on an organic farm in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia. Dennis is a true organic gardener and has the ability to nurture and grow just about any plant in the world. Our gardens have raspberries,blackberries, tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, peppers, lettuce, kale and more with fragrant herbs and so many bright flowers. Just this year we added a special rye grass garden for the many deer that live all around us and a lettuce patch for our three little chickens which they treat like their own salad bar. As for Carolan, well, she is actually in the kitchen more than she is in the garden. Carolan loves to cook with the food grown on our farm. Homemade pastas with marinara and alfredo sauces, vegetable pies, anything Italian and a few delicious indian dishes are some of her favorites. She also loves to bake, delicious berry pies with a flaky butter crust, chocolate walnut cookies and homemade pizzas!Send us a message

Spirit of music in our family Dennis and Carolan met six years ago while playing together in a music group. Love of music is important in our lives and we truly enjoy playing together. Carolan is a vocalist and Dennis is an acoustic guitarist and mandolinist. We perform in and around Virginia and really are looking forward to sharing our love of music and all it’s many blessings with your child. We write songs and rehearse in our sunny music room. This happy place is the first room that our friend’s children always race to when they visit, singing into the microphones and “playing” the piano and guitars. Funnily enough, our dogs Sophie and Isaiah howl passionately everytime we rehearse. A sight to behold for a quick smile on your face.Our lives are filled with music, love and laughter and your child's life will be filled with these as well Send us a message.

Life's simple pleasures Dennis and Carolan love nature and look forward to sharing this with your child. We often picture a little boy or girl with us on a nature walk smiling in awe of all the wildlife or helping us pick strawberries in May and then helping Carolan bake strawberry shortcake with homemade whipped cream on their nose. Life's simple pleasures are the best!

I have to say I love my wife more than anything in this world. She is loving, honest, talented and beautiful. Her compassion and kindness for everyone she comes into contact with continues to amaze me. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know and I thank God everyday for bringing us together. I know she will give her entire heart and soul to your child. Seeing our family in my heart fills me with love and gratitude.
Carolan and I live a full and blessed life and we are looking forward to opening our hearts and arms to your baby.

My husband is the kindest man I have ever known as well as the gentlest and most loving person in the world. He constantly amazes me with his talents!
Dennis' heart is truly good and noble. He always considers others first and he gives of himself to others in selfless kind ways and I thank God for him everyday. I know I am blessed with such a wonderful husband and I know he will be an incredible dad with a lot of love and learning to offer your child!
