Hello, First, we want to thank-you for taking the time to review our profile and considering us in what must seem like an impossible decision. It is one of the most selfless acts that any person can do, and we really admire and respect the courage it has taken you to consider adoption. We hope you'll read more about us in this profile and consider us as potential adoptive parents for your child.

Our hope is for you consider us to be adoptive parents to your child. While we can't promise we'd be perfect parents, we both know that the most important thing we can offer a child is our love and a loving family. ‘We’ would also include our close family and friends who can’t wait to add a new member to the growing extended family – grandma, grandpa, two cousins, and a bunch of uncles and aunts are all very close by and close to us.

About us... We met in college 15 years ago and have been together ever since....Maybe it could be thought of as 'love at first sight' since we've never wanted to date anyone else or have been apart since we first met. We got married about 8 years ago. It's hard to think it's been almost 2 decades that we've been together, and they've definitely been wild and wonderful times.

Our personalities complement one another well. Our personalities are the same in important ways. We both like to spend time with our close friends and family, but we also cherish our time together, just the two of us. We like going out to nice restaurants, but also like to just stay at home and cook ourselves dinner and spend quiet time together.

In our spare time, we like to travel, to do outdoor things like hiking, riding our bikes, going to local parks, and the beach. In the past couple years, we’ve been traveled a lot – including to Hawaii, Mexico, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and a lot of other great places. We really look forward to being able to show our child the world, too. Of course, we don’t need to go to exotic places to have fun -we would love to bring a child the places that we go close to home, trips to the beach, New York City, and the mountains, which are all close to us.

About Brian... I met Brian 15 years ago through a mutual friend in college. I remember feeling really at ease with him, and where I could talk to him like a friend, but also found him very cute at the same time. I remember thinking he had the kindest eyes I've seen, and always felt so relaxed like I had no problems in the world with him.

Brian has been the best husband any guy could possibly be. He is extremely kind, loving, considerate, and always puts others before himself.

He loves playing with our niece and nephew. It's the cutest thing to see a 6 foot guy play hide and seek with a 1 year old and chase them around the house!

I couldn't ask for anything more in a husband, and I know without a doubt he would make a wonderful father.

About Liz...

Liz & I were introduced through a mutual friend in college. Liz's good qualities come from different parts of her personality. She is a very caring and extremely patient person and is very nurturing with me and our cat and is protective of our little family.

Even though Liz has all of those positive qualities, what I also admire about her is her independence. I always wanted my future wife to be a woman who could take care of herself. This is very true of Liz - she can take care of herself.

There's no one that I'd rather spend time with than Liz and I have no doubt that she'll be a fantastic mother.

Our Home We are very happy in our home and are one of the few couples who can say that we know our neighbors, which you don't often see anymore. Even today, Brian was doing some yardwork and one of our neighbors came over to help-no questions asked. It's very family friendly and also a very diverse community, which is something that is very important to us.

We will fully support our future child and whatever they want to do with their lives. We’ll provide them with all the support and love to help them to become all they can –we’ll be sure that they’re surrounded with supportive, nurturing family and friends. We ourselves value education and would hope that our child would also grow up to pursue that education, as well. We’ll be able to provide a good foundation, we live in an area of the country with some of the best school systems in the nation. Above all it’s most important for us to raise a happy, well-adjusted child.
