Michael & Brooke are hopeful adoptive parents from Indiana waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Hello
Thank you for taking time to view our profile. We can't imagine the emotion and energy it takes to work towards this decision, we hope you have good people around to give you help and support. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we admire your courage.
Despite our desire for a large family we have only been able to conceive two children. We feel truly blessed for our boys but know we have so much more love to share. We have prayed often for guidance concerning our future family and feel adopting at this time is the right choice. We believe that adopting a child will bring added joy, peace, love, and bonding to our family. We feel honored to be considered as an adoptive family for your child.
We feel it hard to truly express ourselves in this letter, but we would love for you to get to know our family a little better.
Michael & Brooke
I (Michael) grew up in a large family with four sisters and two brothers. Having grown up in a small town I was often outdoors fishing, hiking or camping. When I was 19 is served a two year religious mission in South Africa and met some amazing people and had wonderful experiences. I received a bachelor degree in biology and later attended medical school. I chose the field of Family Medicine because I liked interacting with patients and the flexibility of the schedule allows me to spend time with my family. I try my best to stay active and my favorite hobbies are road and mountain biking. I like playing basketball, golf, football, and swimming, particularly with my sons. I have participated in three half-marathons and completed my first triathlon last summer. I enjoy doing home repairs and fixing things that are broken.
I (Brooke) am from a loving family and have three brothers. My family moved around frequently during my younger years and finally settled down when I was in 5th grade. Throughout growing up I was in school and church choir and developed a deep love for singing. In high school I was on the basketball team for a season and a member of the Peer Leadership Team which taught drug prevention in elementary schools. I attended a junior college and received my Associates of Science degree. I love the theatrical arts, especially musical theater and hope to someday get involved in community theater. I enjoy card making and scrap booking (when I have time). I am a competitive person so I love a good game/competition, anything really, from ping pong, a board game, or bowling. The way I relax is by reading and I have been known to devour and book in a single day. I love bargain hunting at garage sales and outlets stores. I have recently started gardening and am trying to improve my green thumb.
We met while attending college in central Utah. Our first meeting was while playing an ultimate frisbee game with a group of friends. We soon started dating and within a few seemingly long months we were married. We have been happily married for over 10 years and have been blessed with two beautiful boys, Carson and Connor. Currently Michael is finishing the last year of his Family Medicine Residency and I am grateful to be a full time stay at home mother.
Carson & Connor
Carson is our oldest and just turned six years old and started kindergarten this fall. He is very outgoing and energetic. He likes being with his friends and tells killer knock, knock jokes. He loves sports, especially football and basketball. He enjoys reading books together, riding his scooter or bike, and playing with his Hot Wheels.
Connor just turned four years old and attends preschool. He is a very sweet boy with a kind heart. He keeps us all on our toes with his great sense of humor and mischievous smile. He loves, coloring, teasing his older brother, going to the park, doing puzzles and helping Mom cook.
Together Time
Family time is very important to us and we try to make the most out of the time we spend together. We are fortunate to live within 30 minutes of Lake Michigan and go to the beach as often as we can. Michael has become an expert at constructing sand castles while Carson and Connor have become experts at destroying them. In the evenings we go for bikes rides along the river trail and stop to feed the ducks and geese. We like visiting nearby museums and zoos, some of our favorites have been Children's Museum of Indianapolis, Shedd Aquarium and Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. While we are at home we have family movie nights with popcorn and goodies. When the weather is good we have fun setting up the tent for "backyard camping." Our backyard is also frequently a sports arena where we are found playing family football, bad mitten, soccer, or basketball games.
Our family has had to opportunity to travel frequently and develop great memories. Michael and I have been on some wonderful vacations as a couple including the island of Kauai for our 10 year anniversary. We have also been on a Caribbean Cruise and to New York City where we saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. We also love traveling with the kids and their highlight was visiting Disney world. We have also all been to California to see Sea World and Disneyland, went camping in Yellowstone and best of all back to Utah to visit grandparents.
We have lots of fun family traditions, but we'll share a few of our favorite ones. First of all our favorite holiday is Christmas. Our family loves to cut down a fresh Christmas tree every year and after wards warm up with some hot chocolate and marshmallows. I love collecting Christmas books and we read a story together every night during the month of December. We have also truly enjoyed choosing a family in need each year and being their secret Santa. Halloween is another one of our favorite holidays and pumpkin carving has become the highlight. Michael and I started carving pumpkins our first Halloween together. Michael has become quite good and has started using surgical tools for remarkably ornate designs. We have some very mature trees in our yard and our boys look forward all year to when Dad rakes all the leaves into a HUGE pile and then can jump in them for hours.
We again thank you for your time, please feel free to contact us with any questions, we'd love to hear from you.
