Robert & Angela are hopeful adoptive parents from Illinois waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Welcome Words seem so inadequate to thank someone for considering us as parents. We truly respect your decision to place your child in the hands of another family. Without brave and loving parents like you, many couples like us would not have the opportunity to become parents. We promise to love unconditionally and respect the child we adopt, and help them grow into the person that they want to become. We will offer them a loving, nurturing and stable home environment. We hope that this will give you a glimpse into our lives, and knowing us a little better will put any fears you have at ease knowing that your child will be forever loved and cherished.
About Us We, Rob and Angela, are a fun, outgoing, and loving couple in our mid 30’s who have been happily married for more than nine years and are looking forward to being first time parents. We expected to have several children to bring joy to our lives. Years went by and our family only grew through the addition of Labrador Retrievers. Although our friends all had numerous children, despite all of our efforts through painful medical procedures, a child was never born.

About Angela
I grew up in a small town in Illinois. I was very fortunate to have loving parents and a large extended family that were very involved in my childhood activities. Early on in my childhood, my parents instilled in me a love of reading. Every night before I went to bed, my mother read to me. I especially liked the Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. This love of reading continues in me today. I have a bachelor and masters degree and work in the healthcare field. I love to decorate our house and bake for all the holidays, making every holiday festive. Keeping in my mother’s family tradition of exceptional dessert making, I am well known for many tasty treats including peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter brownies.

About Rob
I was raised in a small town in the New England that had the best of both worlds: living near a big city yet in a rural community that had deer running through the neighborhood. During my childhood, I was involved in outdoor activities and sports –baseball, snow skiing, football, lacrosse and swimming. Even today, I enjoy swimming, watching and/or playing most sports and doing projects around the house.I have a bachelor’s degree and have worked in the investment field for over 11 years at one of the nation’s largest financial institutions.

From the moment we met, we made each other laugh. We met during a college internship at the happiest place on earth, Walt Disney World. What really attracted us to each other is the value we both placed on family, friends and tradition. Because of our Disney connection, we had a Mickey Mouse theme to our wedding and honeymooned on the Disney cruise. We expect to share the ‘magic’ of Disney World, which changed our lives so profoundly, with our child.

Our Life and Home Together we enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, going to sporting events, and cooking. We love holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween, and decorate extensively every year. Traditions are a big part of what ties our family together. We particularly enjoy cooking the Thanksgiving meal together, finding the pickle ornament on the Christmas tree, dressing up for Halloween, and grilling out and watching the fireworks on the 4th. We place special importance on keeping in touch with lifelong friends from our childhood, high school, college and beyond. Some of our favorite times are when we get together with friends and their children. We vacation with our long distance friends and their children on a yearly basis. We plan to share these activities and experiences with a child.

We look forward to having a child around our table for holidays, playing catch with them in the backyard, and experiencing the joy of parenthood. There are many child centered activities in our town: parks, zoo, great schools, a children’s museum, a planetarium, ballparks and areas to walk and sight see. Truly a wonderful place to raise a child! There are other children that live in our neighborhood and we live right across the street from a park equipped with swings and other playground equipment. Our home is comfortable and warmly decorated.
As Parents We will provide a child an environment that is centered on learning, creative expression and exposing them to travel, culture, sports, and diverse experiences all the while encouraging them to be the best they can be. We are dedicated to showing your child a life full of adventure, faith, humor, respect and most of all, they will always know the important and special way they became part of our family. Every night, our prayers with our child will include their birthparents - we are so thankful for the difficult choices they made, that allowed us to be the family we dreamed of becoming.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We know that only you can ever understand how much your gift means to us; a chance of making our dreams a reality.
