Nate & Emily are hopeful adoptive parents from Kentucky waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Friend We are Nate and Emily and we are looking for another little one to share our lives with. Thanks for taking a minute to get to know us. We feel blessed to have the opportunity to share in your journey and hope you will find peace in the choices you make. We are excited to adopt and can’t wait to be a happy family of four or more.
About Us Nate and I have shared six happy years of marriage. Two and a half years ago we welcomed our son Carter into our lives. He brought great energy, joy, and purpose with him. Because of complications following his birth we were counseled to wait for several years before attempting to become pregnant again. We soon realized that our eagerness to provide Carter with a brother or sister was greater than our patience to wait, and we embraced the opportunity to enlarge our family through adoption.

Nate and I are proof that “opposites attract”. He grew up in the country, I grew up in the city. He played sports, I was in theater. He likes to work on cars, I love to read. Luckily, our differences seem to create a great balance in our marriage and our children will be encouraged in whatever direction they choose.
Our Life We own a small home in a really great neighborhood. While Nate is working during the week Carter and I can usually be found at the park, library, children’s museum, or weekly playgroup. We have several families with young children that share our faith who we get together with often. Luckily, these friends are also willing to be babysitters so that I can continue to work by appointment for a local children’s hospital giving makeovers to burn survivors.

The weekends are “Daddy time” and Carter revels in getting to spend time with Nate. This is when football gets watched and cookies or cupcakes get baked. Carter also loves the occasional sleepover at grandma’s house which offers Nate and I the chance for a night out.
Our Hope We hope this glimpse into our lives shows you our commitment to a strong, loving family. As you decide on the right path for your child we hope you will give us the opportunity to get to know you. Send us a message We have lots more that we would love to share with you and we hope you will think of us as prospective parents for your child. You are in our thoughts and prayers each day.
