If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Our Family
We’re Marty and Donna. We admire the tremendous strength and courage it must take to consider an adoption plan for your child. We are honored to be able to share a bit of our life with you. After years of struggling with infertility, our lives were changed forever when a bright, beautiful woman made the loving and courageous choice for us to adopt her baby girl. Our dream came true! And now, we are dreaming again of our family growing through the miracle of adoption.
Our dream of being parents became a reality when we welcomed home our beautiful daughter. We absolutely adore every single second of parenthood. Our lives were totally transformed the second she came into our hearts...and now our world revolves around loving her and meeting her needs. We are so excited to open our hearts again to a new baby! We love nothing more than watching her grow and discover the world around her. For us, parenting is a serious responsibility...and also a privilege that we will never take for granted. We truly cannot wait to welcome another child in our hearts and home.
Send us a message
We promise you if you decide to place your baby with us, he or she will be loved unconditionally, given a happy home, and will be nurtured, encouraged and provided for in a warm and loving family. You can be assured that your child will always know how special you are and how much you loved him or her. We will guide your child to be compassionate, honest, and respectful, to value learning, and encourage him or her to achieve their dreams.
Our Wedding
We both have a strong work ethnic and a solid set of values.
Marty is a business man with a great job. While attending College he was offered a great opportunity to work for an international bank and has been with them for 20+ years. Marty is the oldest of 4 children. He has four siblings, his mom and 6 nieces and nephews. I was drawn to his sense of humor, his intelligence and his warm smile. I knew that he would one day make an excellent father, because he is. He is the most loving and compassionate person that I have ever met. Being with kids comes naturally to him. He is able to see the world through their eyes, and enjoys connecting with them. His interests’ include gardening, fishing, hiking, camping and exploring the world.
Donna attended College to obtain her Paralegal Degree and worked full-time for a firm which she resigned from after 19 years to take care of her mom and a few months later, be a full-time mom to our daughter, Maggie. She is an only child which is one of many reasons we wish to adopt another child. Some of Donna’s interests are cooking, reading, crafts, gardening and spending lots of time playing with our daughter.
We first met about 18 years ago and quickly became great friends. That friendship eventually evolved into romance and then marriage. We met through mutual friends and have been in love with each other ever since. We’ve been happily married for sixteen years and with each day that passes, our love continues to grow stronger. We have always wanted children and we embrace the idea of adopting again.
Our Home
We are fortunate to have friends who have been part of our lives since our childhood and teen years. They provide a tremendous support to each of us and to our family. Some of which have also become families through the miracle of adoption.
Our nice suburban neighborhood has lots of kids that our children will be able to play with. There are many child-centered activities in our town. We are currently members of the Town Playgroup and the Local Y.
Marty and I have intertwined some of the traditions we grew up with as kids and created new ones that we experience with our daughter every year. We like going into New York City for our daughter’s birthday and to see Santa at Macy’s. We go pumpkin picking to the same farm every year. We go on vacation to some of Maggie’s favorite spots each year while exploring new ones too! We understand that as parents that the most prevalent memories of your childhood are those of doing fun things with your family.
Our Extended Family
Marty has four children from a previous marriage who are in their 20's who we see regularly. He has a lot of experience with raising children and loves being around them.
As mentioned above, we have very close friends who are family to us. Some of which live in the same town as we do and Maggie is very close to them and their children. We call ourselves aunt and uncle and cousins. We celebrate Holidays and special days and moments in our lives with each other.
Marty and I are both Catholic. We are parishioners of a local church. We believe that being a good Christian person is to be kind, gentle, caring, loving and to treat others the way you would want to be treated.
Together, we enjoy gardening, going to movies, fishing, camping, walking in the park and spending a lot of time exploring the world with our daughter. We hope to do all of these things and more with another child!
Thank you for spending some time to learn a little about us. It is not easy to sum up our lives in a few words and photos. Still, we hope this profile gives you an idea of who we are and the kind of family that would embrace your child.
At what must be a difficult time for you, we want you to know that we admire your courage as you consider adoption for your baby. We think it only takes one real connection to make an adoption plan the right one for all involved. If you choose adoption, we hope to have the chance to make this connection with you. We genuinely appreciate both the gift and responsibility of being parents. It truly would be an honor for us to welcome your child into our hearts, our family, and our lives. We have plenty of love to share.
