Dear Birth Mother We want to let you know that we admire what you are doing. We realize that the decision you are about to make is one of the most difficult that anyone faces. We hope that you will consider us as we have an open place in our lives for a child to be loved and nurtured.

Our names are Patty and John and we look forward to letting you know a little about us.

Our Life
We met over 4 years ago through an internet dating site. We are proof that you can meet online and have a wonderful relationship. After dating for 4 months we knew that we were right for each other.
10 months after we met we were married. Our marriage is one of trust, love, understanding, respect and humor. We both appreciate what we have in our relationship and know we are lucky to have found each other. In our free time together we enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer including bike riding, hiking, skiing and golfing.

We also love to travel to new places and learn new things as well as look for new adventures in our own backyard. We are both avid readers and are curious about the world. We both have an appreciation of art, drama and music.

Our Home
We live in a comfortable home in a suburb of Seattle. Our neighborhood has lots of children, as well as good schools and good parks nearby. The Seattle area is a wonderful place to raise children with lots of kid friendly activities year round.

About Us About John
John is a wonderful guy. I feel so lucky to have met him and even luckier to be his wife. He always looks out for me and takes care of me and I know he would do the same with our child. He is wonderful with our 4 nieces and 2 nephews. They love their Uncle John and like to wear him out whenever possible! He is a fantastic cook and usually cooks dinner several nights a week for us. He is very loving and he makes me laugh. He is a software engineer for an aerospace company.

About Patty
She’s the sweetest person I know. She’s active, intelligent, caring and witty. I love that we usually find that we have a giggle or two each night before we fall asleep.
Patty loves children and has wanted to teach all her life. Her 5th grade students are fortunate in that she deeply cares that each child achieves as much as they can. She is very caring with her students. Her nieces and nephews adore her. She is quite good at gaining their respect and sets clear boundaries for acceptable behavior. A child will have her utmost devotion.

We look forward to being parents. After many failed attempts to become pregnant, we have decided that all we really want is to be parents. We can offer a child a wonderful home full of love, trust, wonder and learning. We know we can encourage a child to live out their dreams and support them along the way.
