Jim & Jenna are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Expectant Parent;
It is with great admiration and respect that we are able to write this letter to you. This unselfish decision you have made will make our dreams come true by allowing us to become a family. We have waited patiently and hope to start a wonderful beginning. Words cannot express how this will impact our lives. You will be giving us the greatest gift imaginable of which we are truly thankful for. Hopefully you can find comfort and peace with your decision in knowing your child will be loved unconditionally. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We can't even imagine how hard your decision will be, but if given the opportunity, we promise to love unconditionally and provide a lifetime of laughter, love, and everlasting support. Your strength and courage is greatly admired and thank you for considering us.
Howdy!
We are glad you are taking the time to take a little peek in our lives, and we are happy to share a little about ourselves. We are Jenna and Jim. We are native Texans and share our house with our dog, Suki, a Yorkshire terrier, who is almost 3 years old. Our home is also shared with two cats, Sadye and Seymour who are a combined 40 plus pounds of love.
Our Lives Together
It was the summer of 1996. We were both working at Sonic Drive-In as a carhops (yes, Jim was a male carhop). We became instant friends and developed a wonderful friendship throughout high school. After two years of being buddies, we began dating and from there, we never looked back. We got married on the beach in Mexico in 2002. We bought a house shortly after and now look forward to making our lives complete by starting a family.
Parenting
We are so excited to become parents, words can't even describe what this means to us. Parenting is the most difficult and by far the most rewarding, important job we will ever have. It will truly be a blessing to become the parents we have always dreamed of. We have many hopes, dreams, traditions, and life lessons we look forward to share with a child. It will be our goal to bring out the best in them, and help them to become inspired and to always believe in themselves. To be effective, we know that we must tackle the task of parenting as a team, not with just the two of us, but with the love and support of our family and friends.
Everything You Need to Know About Jim (by Jenna)
Jim is my best friend as well as my husband. His general demeanor is mellow, easy going and fun loving- always joking or teasing someone- whether it's me, coworkers, friends or family. Jim is a very smart person and although things come so easily to him, he provides guidance and is patient explaining things. That quality will make him perfectly suited to be a great dad. He has a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering and is going back for his doctorate. I think it's just so we will have to call him "Doctor"! He is a truly genuine person; he doesn't judge others and can make a friend with anyone he encounters. He is always the life of the party and knows how to tell incredible stories. He is the kind of guy who can brighten up any room or situation with his presence. When I am sad he makes me laugh. When I am discouraged, he motivates me to push through and is with me every step of the way. Everything is just better and easier with Jim. He is a great "fur-dad" to our animals. Suki loves her daddy and always sits and waits for him to get home from work. All I have to say is "Daddy's coming" and she lights up. I can only imagine how much our child will love him and inspire to be like him. I know he will be a hero.
I'm so lucky to have him as such a stable force in our lives; he is my rock. Jim will make a truly amazing father. He is caring, gentle, understanding, sensitive, patient and compassionate. Life with Jim is great…and life with Jim and a child will be even better.
Everything You Need to Know About Jenna (by Jim)
Saying that Jenna is my wife and best friend is really not cliché. For the past 11 years, she has been my lighthouse. The person that has always been there for me through tough times, and the person that is there to celebrate the good times with. When I am weak, she is strong. Jenna's personality is one of un-wavering commitment and compassion; the kind of individual you would always want on your side. She is such a sweet person, full of love for both people and animals. She is energetic, compassionate, fun loving and has a quirky sense of humor. She is so wonderful with our dog, Suki. She is the light of her world (of course, besides me!).
While keeping down her career during the days, she went back to school last year for a Master's degree in Business. Jenna takes exercise classes about four times a week including such things as Yoga, Hip-Hop and Latin. She is also adventurous and always likes to go to new places and try new things, whether it's a new restaurant, a weekend trip to a new city or a vacation to Mexico, she's always ready to experience something new. She has a sunny attitude, enthusiastic about life and people enjoy being around her.
Honestly, without Jenna, I have no idea where my life would be. She is the rock that keeps this family grounded and I just can't wait for the opportunity to see her as a mother, because I know she'll be the best that there is out there.
Two Cats..
Next, we'd like to introduce you to the two (quite large) feline members of our happy family...
Sadye is a sweet old girl, who enjoys spending her days taking naps in the sun. While she isn't as energetic as she once was, she is still without a doubt just as affectionate.
Seymour is our orange and white tabby we've had for the last seven years. We rescued him and believe he was meant to be with us. He is without a doubt one of the most unique cats you'd ever meet. It's difficult to sit down for a meal or work on the computer without Seymour coming around looking for love. The real kicker is his relationship with our dog, Suki. The two are absolute best friends. They also love to play chase. That's about it for exercise with that guy. We thought we would never be "cat people" but they have taught us otherwise with their quirky, loving personalities.
And One Dog…
Suki is almost three years old and has been a blessing every single day! She is such a sweetheart who loves to cuddle, and boy does she love to give kisses. Whenever one of us is having a bad day, the worries seem to melt away when we come home and are greeted to that happy, little kissing puppy. She is such a joy and we are lucky to have her around. She is our little angel. Her energy is contagious and makes every day better.
Values we Live By
Love God; love others, love life; that is the motto that we live by. Spiritually, the Lord is such an important part of our lives. Without God, we would not have the unconditional love which we experience for each other, our families, and friends. The Lord has been very good to us and we are extremely thankful for everything we have been provided. We are practicing Christians and we attend a local, non-denominational church. We love the tight knit community we experience there. Many of our friends have adopted little ones so it will be good for our child to grow up with other adoptees. We look forward to the opportunity to raise a child in this Christian, God, and people loving environment.
Family
We believe family is the center of our happiness. Both of us grew in very tight knit homes with loving and supportive parents. Today, we are still very fortunate to live within a close distance of both sets of parents, under 10 miles away to be exact. Both of our families get along wonderful, which is a true blessing; we even have everyone over to our house for holiday gatherings.
This will be the first grandchild for both of our parents. Our families have been so supportive and encouraging throughout the entire adoption process. Everyone is so excited to welcome the new addition to our family. We know in full confidence that our child will be loved unconditionally and spoiled beyond belief!
We live in a large city in Texas. Our home will always be safe and protected. It will always be filled with love and support (along with lots of laughter). We live in a nice, safe community with many other children. There is a community pool right around the corner, and we are close to a few parks. We place a value on education and our child will receive one of the best from some of the best schools in Texas.
In Closing
First, let us thank you for not only taking a moment to consider us as a potential family for this special gift you are bringing into the world, but also for making the brave and honorable decision you have made. He or she will always know about your choice of life and your courage and strength. We know that without a doubt this baby will go to a home full of love and support. The child will be loved, cared for and cherished like no other. We are open for contact through letters and pictures. We look forward to this wonderful opportunity and can’t wait to get to know more about you. We wish you peace with your decision you are about to make and hope you will follow your heart. If it is meant to be, we look forward to meeting with you.
With Love,
Jenna and Jim
