Dimitri & Lynn are hopeful adoptive parents from Illinois waiting to adopt a baby.

We want to thank you for making the unselfish decision to choose life for your baby. We have great admiration & respect for your decision. Thank you for taking time to consider us as adoptive parents for your baby. Children have always been very important to both of us, & we are so very excited at the idea of caring for & raising a child!

We have been married five years & together as a couple for seven 1/2 years. We have always wanted a family, and we are very grateful that adoption allows us this opportunity, which would otherwise not be possible. Together we have a zest for life & have a wide range of interests including music, sports, animals, art, travel, and the outdoors. We hope that we can someday introduce many of these interests to a child.
Lynn started her pet care business in 2004 so that she could combine her love of animals & pet care with her business education & experience. She truly loves what she does! Best of all, the business is managed from home, which will allow her to be home with the child when they are young (infant, toddler & grade school age). She can care for the child, contribute to the family’s income and have a successful, rewarding business without the need of a daycare or nanny. In case you are concerned, Lynn’s business does not board or keep any other pets in our home, besides our own dog and parrot.

Staff takes care of all the customer’s pets in the customer’s home. Dimitri makes a very comfortable living in the radio business- he manages a dedicated staff of people & has many clients who respect him & love his outgoing nature. Most of all, he has a reputation for being fair & respectful to the people around him & to the people that he manages. Dimitri is truly grateful for all that he has earned & achieved & never forgets his modest blue-collar upbringing. Aside from work, Dimitri has many interests that keep him busy. Together, we truly have great fun as a couple!

About Dimitri. Dimitri grew up in Northwest Indiana and is an only child. However, he grew up extremely close with several of his Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. Dimitri’s main interests as a child were sports and music, and he continues those interests presently. In his free time, Dimitri plays the piano or guitar. He also enjoys golfing, biking, and working out. Dimitri graduated both High school & College (Indiana University) with honors earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He went on to work in Media and Sales, starting in the newspaper business. He currently works in the radio and internet business, and he is Manager of a very large sales office. The best part of Dimitri’s job is its location. His office is just one block away from our home! It is great because he has no commute time to and from work, and he comes home to eat lunch. Dimitri is very devoted to his friends and family, especially his mother. Being an only child, they have a very close relationship. We visit Dimitri’s mother several times a month, and he speaks to her on the phone almost daily. Dimitri is always willing to help others and take on extra projects. He frequently makes special trips (an hour drive) to help his mother with maintenance projects around the house. If any of his buddies need help, they know they can count on Dimitri. Whether it is painting, moving furniture, building a child’s playhouse, or mowing the lawn for an injured friend, Dimitri is there! He always gives 110% to everything he does, and he encourages others to do the same. Dimitri is also very creative with a great sense of humor. Most of all, he is a loving and devoted husband, and I am very fortunate to have him in my life. He truly is my best friend who I can always count on, in good times and bad. With all of his wonderful qualities, I know he will be a great father.

About Lynn. Lynn grew up in South Suburban Illinois and is one of three girls in the family. She is also a fraternal/non identical twin with her sister, Lori. All three sisters have a very tight knit relationship among themselves and with their parents and grandmother. All three are married. Lynn’s twin sister wed over 10 years and currently has 2 children, Owen & Katelyn. Lynn’s younger sister, Janet, is a newlywed, celebrating her first anniversary later this year. Lynn graduated both High School and College (Northern Illinois University) with honors, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, and she quickly went on to pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. She worked in corporate tax for several years after graduating college. Lynn is extremely outgoing and is also very smart, sweet, kind, and caring. Her best quality is that she has a big heart. She is extremely loyal to her friends & family and will do anything in her power to help others. Lynn is especially close with her grandmother, who she calls on a daily basis & she is especially close with her twin sister. One of the qualities that I love about Lynn is that she is extremely hard working, another is that she loves to laugh! Central to Lynn’s life is a love for dogs and other animals- she has a very special bond with our dog Gracie and with the many “customers” that she works with daily. Her love for animals was the driving force in her decision to leave the corporate world and start her own business in pet care. Lastly, Lynn is a wonderful wife... always caring, always loving. I am very fortunate that we found each other and she is & always will be my best friend. I have no doubt that she will make a wonderful mother.

Family has always been at the center of our lives. We are very fortunate that each of us comes from loving homes with large extended family- sisters, brothers, cousins, godchildren, & many friends that we consider family. Most of them also live close by & nearly all of them have children. We value hard work, education, nutrition, spirituality, and respect & kindness to other human beings. We are a fun & energetic couple who are also very loving & caring. These will be values that will be at the heart of our upbringing of a child.

We have been planning for an addition to our family for a while now. We bought a new home in 2006 with an extra bedroom & bathroom, so that our family had room to grow. We live in a new building completed in 2006. Our home has 3 large bedrooms & 3 bathrooms and a large, private & safe outdoor terrace/balcony. Our building has many amenities such as a home theater, a children’s playroom, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, & an outdoor area with grass, trees, and flowers. Our building has 24-hr security, a staff that is very friendly, and several other families with children.

Aside from our family and friends, we love our pets! Our parrot Walli is very smart & comical- she always amazes us with the words that she can say and use & at the right time. Both of us have worked very hard at training her! Gracie, our miniature schnauzer, is terrific with children & truly enjoys meeting many of them in the neighborhood on our walks. We encourage her to interact with children when we meet them on our walks. Kids love her sweet, happy-go-lucky personality- and she helps calm the fears of children who are afraid of dogs. She also enjoys playing with our nieces, nephews & our friends’ children when they visit.
