Jeremy & Emilyprofile id #25004
Jeremy & Emily are hopeful adoptive parents from Pennsylvania waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Parents,
We have had so much fun preparing this letter. We hope you have fun reading it! We are grateful for your selflessness in considering adoption. We recognize that this is a difficult time because of the decisions you are faced with. We pray that you will be blessed with peace and comfort.
We would like to tell you about ourselves so that you may get to know us a little better.
Jeremy talking about Emily:
Emily is wonderful. She makes our home a happy place to be. When I am upset she does something silly to cheer me up. Emily is patient, has great love for people and chooses to find the good in others. She simply doesn’t gossip. Emily enjoys life and finds happiness in little things like rainy days, a good book, chocolate, and a warm blanket.
Emily is intelligent. I am excited for her to share her knowledge and love for learning with our children. She excels in whatever she does whether it is sewing a skirt, trying a new recipe, or taking an appliance apart in order to fix it. Emily loves family and visits often with her parents and siblings. She is also very protective of her family and wants them to be treated with love and respect.
Emily talking about Jeremy:
Jeremy is very good at serving others. He is an unselfish person. If someone asks him for help, he will help. He is a really productive person as well. He usually has a half a day’s work completed by the time I get up on Saturday mornings. Jeremy really likes the accomplishment he feels when he has done a lot of work. Jeremy is the most genuine person I know. He takes his responsibilities seriously and is a wonderful husband.
I know Jeremy is going to be a great dad because he is a wonderful uncle and playmate to so many children. He regularly makes up impromptu songs about the kids he is with to help them have a better attitude or to just laugh. Our nephews enjoy the songs so much that they make songs up and sing them to Jeremy.
About our Relationship
Jeremy on our relationship:
As children, Emily and I first met when our families were cast members in the Hill Cumorah Pageant (an outdoor theatrical pageant) in Palmyra, New York. We became reacquainted in Utah. Emily came to a basketball night and I was instantly attracted to her skills and beauty. Unfortunately, due to our
competitive nature we found out that we could not play one-on-one basketball against each other. It took me almost six months to convince Emily to fall in love with me and we were thereafter happily married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. Since that wonderful day in August of 2001, Emily has supported me in my education in becoming a speech language pathologist. Emily is currently working full time as a Dental Implant Coordinator. When we adopt, she intends to be a stay at home mother.
Emily and I enjoy music. She plays the piano and I love to sing. We enjoy running, playing soccer and spending time outdoors together. I like to get out of the house on weekends, so we often go out to eat or occasionally see a movie or a play. We enjoy Civil War Re-enacting and visiting historical sites as well as exploring new places.
Emily on our relationship:
Jeremy and I both come from large families. We each have eight siblings and we are both the eighth of nine children. I grew up in Pennsylvania, Utah, and California. Jeremy grew up in Utah. Between our two families, we have over 50 nieces and nephews whom we enjoy spending time with whenever possible. Though some are getting too big, many still request a horseback ride from Uncle Jeremy whenever he is around. Most of Jeremy’s siblings live in Utah, but he has some family in Colorado and Wisconsin. I have siblings in Pennsylvania, Utah, Arizona and Washington.
Jeremy and I are excited about becoming parents. We want to help the children in our home to know Jesus Christ. We also want to teach them that family members can be their best friends. We think the best way to do this is to make sure we spend time together as a family.

We have learned so much about adoption since we first started in this process. We know that you love your baby. We recognize that whatever decision you make, it was made out of love. We want you to know that we are comfortable with an open adoption. We especially want what is in the best interest of the child. We have learned that openness in adoption can help the child be more self-confident. If you choose adoption, we want your child to know the love that influenced you to make an adoption plan.
We hope this letter has enabled you to get to know us a little bit more. We respect and admire you for considering adoption. We appreciate the strength and courage you have. May you find peace and happiness with whatever decision you make. We hope to meet you soon!
Sincerely,
Jeremy and Emily
