Jeff & Kathy are hopeful adoptive parents from New Jersey waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparents, We can only hope that by reading our letter and profile that you feel confident and take comfort in knowing that your child will be going to a loving, nurturing, stable home and family.

To tell you a little about ourselves, we met on New Year's Eve in 1995 through mutual friends. We started to date shortly after and were married in December of 1999. We have a strong, supportive and loving marriage. A year after we were married we decided that we wanted to start a family together but we were unable to conceive. Shortly after learning we could not get pregnant we decided to pursue adoption. In September of 2004 we were blessed with the birth and the adoption of our son, Connor, who is now five. Both of us come from close knit families with siblings and we feel that it is important for Connor to have a sister or brother to grow up with. We look forward to growing our family and raising a child along side of him. He often talks about having a brother or sister.

Jeff is an Equities Trader for a large financial firm. He has good hours and works Monday through Friday. He is hard working, but his family is always his first priority. He is fortunate that he doesn't have to work late or on weekends and instead can spend time with his family. Kathy works very close to home with families who have children with mental health and behavioral issues.

She enjoys the work she does and is fortunate to have a flexible schedule. On occasion Kathy works with couples who are pursing adoption. She enjoys being a part of a couple's journey to become parents through adoption. Kathy will plan to stay home for a while with your baby as she did with Connor.
What We Do For Fun We are a fun and active family who enjoy sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Jeff enjoys golf and softball. Kathy enjoys running and reading. Connor enjoys playing golf, baseball, soccer and now wants to try karate. Together as a family we enjoy cooking, walks in the park with our dog, traveling to our family's vacation home in Florida, and playing games. Our extended families are a very important part of our lives. We vacation together, get together for the holidays and support each other successes. Everyone is excited about welcoming another child into our family.

So much as changed for us for the better since Connor was born. We find what is important now are such things as playing football in the backyard on a Sunday afternoon, group hugs, and sharing our days around the dinner table. We are raising Connor and would raise another child to focus on the positive, to strive to be his or her best and to never give up. We would hope that we could give them everything they need to become whoever they want to be and to value life.
Our Home and Community We live in a newer home in a suburban community with many young families. We have made several close friends during the time that we have lived in our neighborhood. We often get together on weekends to let our children play while the parents do some catching up. The neighborhood also has planned events and activities for families. We live in a town with a large lake, playgrounds, and parks with hiking trails. We have an excellent school system and live within walking distance to the elementary school. We believe this is a great place to raise a family.
In Closing Thank you for reading our letter. We know this is a difficult time and our thoughts and prayers are with you. We're sure this brief description cannot convey all the love and affection that we can offer your child. But we hope that it makes you feel comfortable that you are making a good decision in finding your child a healthy and happy home.

Thank you with all our heart,

Jeff and Kathy
