Dear Birthmother..... As we are writing this letter, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your decision to choose life for your precious little one is a true blessing. We know that this is a very difficult time, perhaps the most difficult in your life. We are praying for you! We deeply admire the courage demonstrated in your choice for adoption. We understand that you are making this decision out of love, and you have our deepest respect.

Our story began thirteen years ago when we met at a gathering through mutual friends. We were instantly drawn to each other. Both of us have rewarding careers and have been with our current employers for approximately seventeen years. Matthew is a vice-president with a financial services company and Christine is a business manager at an employee benefits consulting firm (Chris has already arranged to go part-time when we are blessed with a baby and her parents will also be helping us out). Traveling, exploring the outdoors, watching movies, and long walks with our two dogs are activities we enjoy. We are a social couple actively involved in the lives of our friends. Both of us take pride in the relationships we have built throughout the years and make the effort to nurture those friendships.

Chris about Matt Matt is a loving, honest, loyal and supportive husband. He is my best friend, the love of my life and a gift from God. He is already the kind of uncle his nieces and nephew cling to and adore because of his playful sense of humor and affection. He makes me laugh all the time. What I love most about my husband is his combination of fun and humor with responsibility and strength. Matt loves to cook; he is handy around the house and yard as well. Matt will make a great father; he is smart, funny, loves unconditionally, and will bring great joy to our child.

Matt about Chris Chris is an inspiration; she is a very loving, supportive wife and my best friend. She is passionate about life, lives it to the fullest, and has a beautiful heart and great compassion for family, friends, coworkers and animals. She is very creative and has a flair for design (she is always moving around the furniture and adding something new to the décor). She will be a loving, open-minded, compassionate and nurturing mother. She loves spending time with her nieces and nephew. It will be a great blessing to raise a child together.

More About Us Family is very important to us. We have a very close relationship with both our families. We are fortunate that our families live nearby and are able to get together often. Holidays and summer barbeques are a lot of fun when shared with our family and friends. Our family is supportive and understanding. They are happy we decided to adopt and cannot wait to welcome a new addition to the family.

We have a lovely comfortable home with a large yard. We live in small but growing community that is close to the city and our school system is consistently rated as one of the top in Wisconsin. We live in a two-story, three bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood with lots of kids!! Our home is often the site for family and friend get-togethers on the holidays or summertime cookouts. We have created lots of wonderful memories in our home and are looking forward to starting a new chapter in our lives.

After six years of unexplained infertility, God has confirmed to us both that adoption is His plan for us. Our families, too, are ready and eager to welcome a new baby. We feel blessed beyond measure to be on this journey, and we are so anxious to meet you. We pray we have given you the confidence that your child will be welcomed with open arms into our home and lives. Your child will be surrounded by compassion, consistency, adventure, and family. Above all else, your child will always know the love you have for him or her. It is because of you that we will become a family. We believe that adoption is one the most unselfish acts a mother could make, and we will always honor you for this decision. May God give you wisdom, courage, and strength as you seek the right parents for your child. We hope you are the answer to our prayers.
