Courtney & Jessica are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

DEAR BIRTH MOTHER: We are Courtney and Jessica and we want to thank you for taking the time to view our online profile. We cannot begin to express our admiration and respect for the choice you are making. Your decision takes courage and selflessness. We pray that you are able to realize your dreams and pursue your goals in the future all while knowing you made a courageous decision to ensure a wonderful life for your child. Your child would be such a blessing to our family.

ABOUT US:
We are each others best friends and we balance each other out nicely. Jessica is outgoing while Courtney is on the shy side. We were both raised with Christian values that we continue to live by and helping our children discover their faith is important to us. Our relationship has been strengthened in our struggle to become parents. We welcomed our daughter, Avery, in 2007. Adoption has been in our hearts for a few years. Deciding to grow our family through adoption has answered many prayers. We are very excited to welcome another child into our family.
JESSICA: Jessica is very social and loves organizing play dates and excursions for herself and Avery. She likes walking our dog, watching television and loves to read. Jessica loves to plan just about anything including our vacations, holidays and birthday parties. She enjoys being a stay-at-home mom.

MY WIFE:
My wife is an intelligent, beautiful, fun-loving, and spiritual person. I always knew that Jessica would be a great parent, but watching her interact with our daughter has really made me realize how lucky I am to have her. I'm constantly amazed at the amount of love she has to give to our current and future family members.
COURTNEY: Courtney is a laid back and funny guy. He enjoys playing his guitar, riding his mountain bike and watching football on television. He is a co-owner of his family business along with his oldest brother and father. Courtney’s schedule is flexible so he can take time off to attend school plays, pediatrician appointments and take off early for weekend getaways. Courtney values our family time in the evenings and on the weekends.

MY HUSBAND:
My husband is a caring and sincere man. He is a supportive and loving husband and knows how to make me laugh. Courtney is a very involved dad. It is not unusual to find him "having tea" with Avery and wearing a princess hat. The highlight of Courtney’s day is reading Avery bedtime stories. He looks forward to the day when he will be reading to two little ones.

Our daughter, Avery, is a charming, funny, inquisitive, smart and loving little girl. Avery loves babies and is more than ready for a little brother or sister. Many of her little friends have younger siblings so your baby will have plenty of playmates and an adoring big sister. As a family we enjoy spending time in our backyard. We have a sand and water table and kiddie pool that provide hours of entertainment. We enjoy visiting nearby parks and playgrounds and like to attend local events. We treasure relaxing afternoons building towers with blocks, playing with puzzles and reading books. Our cats, Jaxon and Molly, are kid friendly and our labrador retriever, Sam, adores children.
We enjoy hiking and look forward to our first camping trip as a family. We took our first big family vacation early this summer to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Jessica loves to plan our family getaways and is already thinking about the next trip to Disney World as a family of four!

Courtney's parents are a part of our day to day lives since they live just five minutes from our house. His older brother and wife have two boys, ages five and nine. Avery and her cousins spend countless hours playing in the backyard, cooking with Grandma and exploring with Papa. They can't wait to have another playmate. Jessica's parents live in a nearby town so we make weekend visits once a month. Our family and friends are all excited for us to grow our family through adoption. Two of Courtney's uncles have adopted their children and Jessica's mother's best friend also adopted her children, so both of our families have seen first hand the blessing of adoption.

OUR HOME: We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home near several parks and a library. The exemplary elementary school the children will attend is within walking distance and our middle school is just a little further down the road. Our neighborhood is diverse and full of young children. There are sidewalks throughout our neighborhood that make it easy to take family walks with the dog.

IN CLOSING:
We promise that we will give your child unconditional love. We value education and will encourage him or her to follow their dreams. There will be lots of kisses, hugs and laughs. Your child will never doubt the love and acceptance we have for him or her. We promise never to forget your courage and will remind him or her of your love. We wish you luck in your adoption plan and pray that you receive the guidance and peace that you deserve.
Thank you for taking the time to read about us. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to get to know us better.

With Love,
Jessica & Courtney
