Welcome To Our Profile! First, we'd like to say how grateful we are that you are considering adoption. We respect and admire birth parents that place their babies for adoption because it is such a loving, selfless thing to do. If you are considering adoption though, you are probably going through a very rough time. We can't imagine how hard this must be, but we wish we could give you a big hug right now!

We believe that through adoption, birth parents, children, and adoptive families are blessed. About Our Family Wayne: Our family motto is: "We work hard, and we play hard!" I'm Wayne. I married my beautiful wife Teresa in August 2000. She is a full-time mom, which is great! She spends time every day with our kids helping them with their activities, like reading, piano, soccer, basketball, and Cub Scouts. She also loves baking cookies, making crafts, and playing games with our kids. We have two sons, Daniel and Benjamin. They are great friends. When I get home from work, I like to spend time with them. For my job, I manage a team of computer programmers. We make software for conferences, conventions, and trade shows. I travel to cool places sometimes for my job. Our family loves to travel to fun places too, like Disneyland, Hawaii, and the Pacific Northwest.

Teresa: Wayne and I have always had a fun and interesting relationship. We were neighbors during college, and Wayne asked me out two days after we first met. During our date, we ran into one of Wayne's old friends who proudly introduced us to his new wife. Not to be outdone, Wayne turned and introduced me as his wife. Wayne thanked me later for playing along, but the truth is that I was just speechless! Nothing romantic came out of that date, but we quickly became good friends. Almost two years later, our friendship suddenly and surprisingly blossomed into romance. Soon afterward, we really did get married!

Wayne: One thing I've always liked about Teresa is that she is spontaneous and fun. Teresa will drop what she is doing to go out on a Friday night date. Teresa and I share the same silly sense of humor, and we really understand each other. I also admire that Teresa is very smart and insightful. I always wanted to marry someone that I could have an intelligent conversation with. Of course, that means I don't get to be right all the time, but I can live with that. The best thing about Teresa is that she is an awesome mom. She puts her heart and soul into raising our kids. She is also very spiritual and teaches them good Christian values. She keeps them intellectually, physically, and spiritually active. Her influence will always be a blessing in our children's lives.

Teresa: Wayne has never failed to make life interesting for me. Whether it was taking me flying in a small airplane, or going out to eat with me at exotic places, he has always had unusual plans to share with me. We love to do new things together, especially if it involves traveling. Wayne gets to experience different cultures a few times each year, when he travels for his job to places like Spain, Australia, and China. I'm not quite as daring, but I like to travel throughout the United States. Wayne wants to go to Russia with me someday because he's been to Russia before and speaks Russian. I'd prefer to go to London because I speak English. Wayne loves new challenges, whether they are part of his work or play time. His most enjoyable times with Daniel and Benjamin are when he gets to teach them about something they have never seen or done before. Overall, one of the best ways to describe Wayne is that he is an adventurer.

Why We Want to Adopt Wayne: Teresa and I both came from big families. Growing up, our family parties were always fun, with so many cousins and other relatives to play with. We want that for our kids too, and we want our house to always be full of fun. We were delighted that our two sons came along, but Teresa was unable to get pregnant again. Right now, our family feels incomplete. We hope we'll be blessed with a larger family through adoption.

Teresa: I love being a mom, and I feel that there is a little girl who is meant to be part of our family. Even though we don’t have her yet, I love her already. The rest of the family is just as excited as I am about adoption. Daniel and Benjamin pray every day for their little sister, whom they anxiously await. Our family won’t be complete until we have a little princess of our own!

An Open Adoption If you decide to place your baby with us, you could still participate in the milestones in your baby's life. You can choose how involved you want to be. We are willing to have an open adoption. We would send pictures, letters, and emails to keep you updated on your baby’s growth and development. You could also continue to follow us on our family blog. We could even meet up for in-person visits. Because of the lasting impact our birth parents will have on our family, we would always honor you.

We hope that by choosing to place your baby for adoption, you will have more freedom to pursue your personal goals, like your education, career, and relationships. As adoptive parents, we can provide a loving, established family.
