Ryan & Cydnee are hopeful adoptive parents from Utah waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Our Family Dear Birth Family,

First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and admiration for the decision you have made to place your baby for adoption. You are truly making one of the most selfless decisions imaginable and we can only say thank you so much for having the courage and strength to do that. We can't pretend we know how you feel or offer an easy answer to make it all feel better. We simply offer you hope that this letter finds you feeling well and feeling the warmth and peace that will come from making this choice decision. We want you to know that we love you. You are giving someone a gift that they would otherwise never be able to obtain…what an absolutely amazing thing you are doing! Your selfless act will create an eternal family, and in our case will complete our family with the princess we have been longing for.

Ryan and I have been happily married now for over 10 years. We met when we were both attending college. We were set up for the Homecoming Dance and never dated anyone else after that fateful first date! We were married in 1999 in the Salt Lake Temple. We have been blessed with two biological children. Our first son, Noah, was born in 2000 and our youngest, Jaxson, was born in 2005. Following the birth of Jaxson, I had some complications of the pregnancy that caused a form of heart failure. I am so happy to say that I am doing great and have recovered well. However, due to the impact of the pregnancy we were told that we could no longer have any more biological children, it would be too great of a risk. Almost immediately, we just knew that we were still meant to have three children and that adoption must be how that would happen.

We truly feel like we are a blessed kingdom as a family, just waiting for our little princess to complete us. We have requested a baby girl as we feel like that is what is missing from our family. We have always felt very strongly that we would have a daughter and that is what we are praying for daily. We promise you that your baby will be loved and cared for just the same as our biological boys, there is no difference as she will be an equal part of our eternal family (well, she might be a little more spoiled being the only princess besides me of course!)Our two boys can’t wait to have a little sister to cherish and show off! They ask us all the time when they are going to get their baby sister. They are so loving and will just shower a new baby with love, affection and most of all brotherly protection! They pray for you nightly as do we. Always know that you and your baby will be a forever part of our family and will always be in our prayers.

Family means the world to us. We have a large extended family and enjoy getting together for birthdays, holidays and random outings. Our kids have lots of cute cousins, whom they all love and play with all the time. We love family parties, outings, vacations and sleepovers. Our parents live within walking distance from our home and are very involved in their grandchildren’s lives. It’s such a blessing to have them so close to us. They are all very excited to welcome you and your baby into our family and to get to know you better. They also recognize the selfless decision you are making and are eternally grateful for your choice.

As a family, we love doing anything together. We love to go on vacation, trips to the Zoo or the dinosaur park, Saturday movies, pizza and movie nights, sporting events (especially those that the boys participate in), weekly trips to the pool and Lagoon in the summer, picnics in the park, spending time in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking and so much more!! We are an active family who are always on the go. There is always something that we are involved in and that keeps us busy.
Ryan and Cyd Ryan loves anything that has to do with the great outdoors. He loves to hunt, fish, hike, golf, play sports and LOVES spending time with the boys. They are his buddies and constant companions on all his outdoor ventures. He is the most involved dad that I know, willing to drop anything to spend time with his boys and us as a family. Ryan grew up playing just about every sport and still enjoys participating in recreation leagues. He is a great coach and has been the head coach of every team Noah has participated on so far. Ryan is everyone’s friend and is always so fun to be around. Ryan has earned his Master’s Degree and is employed at Hill Air Force Base as a Contract Specialist.

Cydnee loves to spend time with family and friends. She grew up dancing and was a cheerleader and on the drill team during her school years. She always loved school and was able to attend college on an academic scholarship. She likes to be busy and involved in whatever the boys are doing and in the community as a volunteer. She likes to scrapbook and decorate. She is a registered nurse and also earned her Master’s Degree. She loves being a nurse and feeling like she makes a difference in the lives of her clients. She is a part time nurse consultant for a company who works with developmentally handicapped adults and is a full time homemaker. She works outside of the home one afternoon a week. While she does that, the boys get to spend quality time with their grandparents. She loves being able to be home with the boys and help in their classrooms and other activities. She has a great group of friends that do lots of fun girl things together and can't wait to add a new member to that clan!
The Boys Noah is our little athlete. He loves to play any sport and is very dedicated. Just to brag, he once caught the game winning pass and ran for the touchdown in his flag football league, sending his team into the playoffs—we were so proud!! His favorite sport is basketball and we love going to all his comp games and cheering him on. He is a natural born leader, a great student and loves school. He is currently in the third grade. He loves the outdoors and is always finding ways to make us laugh.

Jaxson is so funny. There isn’t a day that goes by that he doesn’t amaze us with something that he says or does--I like to call these "Jaxisms". He is our big helper who loves to do whatever he can to help mom or dad. He is so independent and has to have things done just the right way. He is at such a fun age and loves discovering new things. He is returning for his second year of preschool this year and is doing great! He is so excited to start kindergarten next year and asks me every day how many more days until he gets to go...it makes me sad to think about how fast he is growing up but I am so happy that he is excited about school and is already reading!

We truly have very busy boys, who are all boy to the core!! We need our little girl so that I can restore the female balance in the home! We love all the sports that we get to see, but sure can't wait until we are seated front row in a dance recital or get to play with barbies instead of GI Joes!! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful, loving family.
Thinking of You... We know we are so blessed to have had the opportunity to have had two wonderful children on our own. We know that Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us and that our plan includes a sweet little princess to add to our eternal family. We know that the right birth family will find us when she is ready to join us. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or thoughts. We look forward to keeping you involved in your daughter's life and always letting her know how special she is because she has a special mommy who lovingly grew her in her belly just for us!

We pray that you are doing well, that you know how much we love you for who you are and the decision that you are making. You are truly amazing and are going to be responsible for giving the greatest gift imaginable to your adoptive family as well as to your baby. You will be giving your baby the gift of an eternal family, there is simply no greater gift than that. We will always look to you as a hero that allowed us to be complete.

We can't wait for you to find out more about us. We know already that you are absolutely amazing. We hope to meet you soon!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as we are waiting for our princess,
Ryan, Cydnee, Noah and Jaxson
