Daniel & Karen are hopeful adoptive parents from New Jersey waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Mother
We are Karen and Dan and we would like to thank you so much for taking the time to read about us. We hope these few pages give you good insight into who we are and our commitment to building our family through adoption. Although this glance into our lives is brief, we want you to feel confident knowing that if you choose us as parents for your baby, he or she will have a lifetime of love, security, happiness and lots of laughter. We can only imagine how difficult this decision is for you and want you to know how much we admire your strength and courage.
About Us
We are both in our 30's and have spent the last 10 years trying to have a child with no success. We always imagined having a family and to provide the unconditional love and support that every child deserves. Karen's sister adopted a beautiful child which has inspired us to do the same. We have known each other for 17 years and have been married for 12. We met through a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since. After dating for 5 years we were married at a lovely place in Long Island, New York. All our friends said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Both of us come from large close families and we have a total of 13 nieces and nephews. We want to assure you that if you decide to choose us to raise and care for your child, they will be surrounded by a family that loves and adores them.
We live in a 3 bedroom ranch with our dog and cat in a suburban area where there are lots of children. The area is quiet and safe. We enjoy sitting outside on the patio listening to the birds chirp and watching the wild life.
As a couple, we enjoy going to the theater, hiking in the park with our dog Sadie, making annual trips to the Philadelphia Zoo & Natural History Museum with our nieces and nephews and eating out at different restaurants. We also like to travel and have been to Bermuda, Turks and Caicos and Shenandoah National Park where we hiked up to the top of the mountain; what a view ! When we were in Turks and Caicos we went snorkeling in the ocean and saw different kinds of fish.
We are practicing Catholics and attend services regularly. Our faith is an important part of our lives, which we will share with our children.
We both have college degrees and would make sure the child does as well. Dan has a very good job as a Project Engineer and Karen works as a Medical Laboratory Technologist for a diagnostic company. Once we become parents, Karen plans to stay at home with our new baby.
Dan About Karen:
My wife Karen is a loving, intelligent, honest and reliable person who is full of love and passion. She lights up a room when she enters it and always has a smile on her face. Her nurturing nature is second to none as well as is her love for family. In addition to those activities we enjoy as a couple, she volunteers at the local animal shelter and loves to cook and work in the garden.
Karen About Dan :
Dan is an affectionate loyal husband. For him, family comes first and it shows in his close relationships with both of our families. He enjoys reading, skiing, cooking and going Mets and Jets games. His dream is to have a child he can enjoy these activities with.
Our Families
Karen has a brother and sister as well as 3 nieces and 3 nephews. We spend a lot of time with them and always see them on holidays, their birthdays and any other opportunity we have to spend time with them. We regularly have the kids over for sleep overs and take them on trips to the local amusement park and beach
Dan has 2 brothers and 2 sisters as well as 4 nieces and 4 nephews. As with Karen's family, we spend as much time with them as possible and really enjoy being around them.
