Kevin & Adrienneprofile id #26023
Kevin & Adrienne are hopeful adoptive parents from Virginia waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Excited to Adopt Again
Allow us to introduce ourselves - we are Adrienne and Kevin. Due to our struggle with infertility, we were not able to grow our family biologically, so in late 2010 we started our journey with adoption. We were blessed with our adopted son Zachary in 2011 and we are hoping to be blessed a second time with a sibling to complete our family. We both come from bigger families (Kevin has three siblings and Adrienne as two) so we feel strongly that Zachary should have a little brother or sister as well.
We’d like to start by saying that we admire your courage in choosing adoption for your baby, and we appreciate that this must be a very difficult decision. We hope that after learning more about us, you might consider us as adoptive parents for your child. If you choose us to love and cherish your baby, he or she will always know of your strength, courage and love. May God bless you for this decision and give you hope and peace of mind in choosing adoption for your baby.
With both of us being outdoor types, it wasn’t surprising that we met on a hike that was sponsored through our church. We got married on New Years Eve in 2005 (it was the best party we ever threw) and set up our home together in suburban Washington, DC.
We have cherished our family since the beginning and will continue to do so. We hope you can get a sense of the love that we have for each other and our son Zachary in this short description of what we have to offer as a family.
About Our Family
All About Adrienne
Adrienne is a great mom to Zachary, attending to his every need and loves to make our little boy laugh, which isn’t hard to do. She and Zachary spend their time playing, learning, discovering and exploring all that appeals to our curious little toddler boy. She stays physically fit and enjoys taking walks with Zachary, going to the pool, play dates, library story time and yoga class. She also really enjoys cooking for both Zachary and Kevin (the boys get to benefit from the gourmet menus!). Adrienne also works part-time serving a local Christian conflict resolution organization about one day/week.
All About Kevin
Kevin works as an Information Technology Project Manager supporting a government agency. He works on some exciting technologies that assist in the collection of intelligence to support the national security interests. He is a former professional photographer and still dabbles in this craft but has re-dedicated his efforts to charity pursuits, friends and family at this point. He is also an active outdoorsman, but his greatest joy is being called Daddy by our son Zachary. He stays fit playing racquetball in the winter months and cycling in the warmer months and recently got a bike trailer for his little buddy Zachary, so is now doing more family biking. He has participated in the Pan Mass Challenge, a bike ride to benefit cancer research for 13 years, cycling more than 12,000 miles and raising $104,000 to fight the disease that took nine family members including his father.
About Our Adopted Son Zachary
We adopted Zachary as an infant in 2011 and he's been our joy now for almost two years. He's a very clever, bright, and happy little boy. He has such a bubbly little laugh and quite a charming personality. He loves cars, trucks, trains and really enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together again. We're thinking he will turn out to be like his father - an engineer. Our families have both welcomed him with open arms and really truly love him, just as we do. He's been the light of our life and we are truly blessed to have him as our son.
Our Larger Families and Our Home
About Our Larger Families
Adrienne’s family is mostly in Tennessee. Her father is a retired teacher and is working a part time job in an assisted living community. Her mother is also retired – they both live near Knoxville in the city of Maryville. Her brother also lives in Maryville and owns a computer repair business. Her sister is an actress, teaches yoga, and lives in New York City.
Kevin’s mom lives in a retirement community in Springfield, Virginia. His dad passed away in 1999, but his memory lives on in their family. His brother lives with his three children in Richmond, Virginia and he works for Verizon as a sales executive. His sister is retired and lives in downtown DC. His other brother is a sales executive for a dental supply company in San Diego, California and his daughter, who recently married her college sweetheart, also lives there in San Diego and is working as a graphic designer.
Our Home
We live in a nice neighborhood that has lots of playgrounds, parks, walking paths and wonderful sources of recreation. Our community is unique in that it has lots of open space for children to play safely while still being close to shopping, schools, and activities. Our son Zachary has found many friends his age to play with in the neighborhood.
Our four bedroom townhouse is fairly roomy and has been great for building our family. Since we got married we’ve remodeled and refurnished some of the rooms. We have plenty of room for a nursery for Zachary's sister or brother as well as a fun playroom filled with all kinds of toys.
Our Promise to You
We promise with all our hearts that we will provide your baby with love, faith, and a safe and fun place to grow up. We hope our message here conveys our honest convictions, our values, and what we can offer to both you and your baby in this situation. May God continue to bless you and comfort you and we will pray for you and for the future of your baby.
