Hello Hi, we are Rob and Lisa! We truly hope that through our profile you will get to know us as a strong, loving couple who would be honored to become adoptive parents.

We met during college in 1998 and have been married since 2003. We have lived such full and happy lives as a couple and are excited to make new memories as a family. We tried for several years to have biological children before embracing adoption as the best option for us to achieve our dreams of having a family. We believe with all our hearts that adoption is the way we were meant to build our family. We will cherish being parents and look forward to music recitals, children’s sporting events and family vacations.

About Us We have settled in a beautiful city in central Virginia, where we live in a neighborhood full of families, pets and activities. We just moved into a new 5-bedroom house that we built this past year and we dream of raising children in our new home. We have a dog, Brodie, a three year old labradoodle (Labrador mixed with Poodle). He is extremely gentle and loves children and other dogs. Rob has a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School and works as an investment professional in the finance field. Lisa is a Certified Public Accountant and recently put a nine-year career in accounting on hold in anticipation of becoming a stay-at-home mom. To pass the time, Lisa plays the piano for the local high school choir and also teaches piano lessons.

We are very active and love to take long walks with our dog. We also enjoy going to the beach in the summer and skiing in the winter. Rob enjoys golfing in his free time, and while we both like to read, it is one of Lisa’s favorite hobbies. We love to travel and explore other cultures and countries. While we've had many good times over the years together, we always talk about how much fun it will be to finally bring children on trips with us.

Rob has an incredible sense of humor. He is my best friend and equal partner and I know I can always count on him. Rob puts our family first and loves planning for our future. He will be such an amazing father.

Lisa is a loving and passionate person who adores children and being with our families. Lisa will make an incredible mother as she is both a caring person and a strong leader. She is also a great role-model for many people as she is honest, trustworthy and compassionate.

Our Extended Family Family means everything to us. We like to spend as much time as possible with each of our families and are extremely fortunate that both sets of our parents are still married. We absolutely love being Aunt Lisa and Uncle Rob to our 3 nephews and 1 niece. We do everything from bath time routines, reading books, singing and playing in the pool with our niece and nephews and just can't wait to introduce a new little cousin to them.

Lisa grew up in a very close knit, loving family and has 2 younger brothers. Lisa talks to her mom every day and keeps in touch with the rest of the family often. We have as many large family gatherings as we can, and they always include a ton of homemade food, as well as games, cards and lots of fun!

Rob’s family includes his parents and older sister. We are extremely fortunate that they only live a few hours away in North Carolina and we always look forward to our visits. Each fall, we take our nephews apple picking in Virginia, and one of their favorite activities is the hayride through the orchard.
