David & Liz are hopeful adoptive parents from Virginia waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

We tried to start a family over 7 years ago and have been unsuccessful. We had spoken about adoption many times in the past, but were always brought back to infertility treatments led by our doctors giving us favorable odds of becoming pregnant. After all was said and done, we drew closer together, leaned on each other for love and support, have no regrets, and have gained a sense of overwhelming certainty that adoption will complete our family.
We live in a rural community with our two dogs, boxer-mix Molly and beagle-mix Joe, and a bearded dragon, Francesca. David is the band director at the local high school and enjoys sports, cars and fishing. Liz teaches biology at a community college and previously worked with animals for 3yrs before completing her Master’s degree. Liz loves animals, reading and has started to dabble in gardening. We both enjoy spending time outdoors; kayaking, hiking, fishing…although Liz lets David handle the fish she catches. We are both very active in church and in our community. David is currently the first counselor in charge of Sunday School teachers , 2nd counselor for the Men's organization and is also the chorister at church. Liz is the compassionate service coordinator for the church’s women's organization. We try to serve in both our church and community whenever the chance arises.
When we are blessed with a child, David will continue to teach full-time, while Liz plans to work part-time; teach a few classes per semester at the college (hopefully all on-line so she can stay at home!). We plan on teaching our children strong values; to know right from wrong, be truthful in all their dealings, and to love and respect God and their fellow man. Our child(ren) will spend lots of time outdoors, learning and appreciating the world around them. We both have extended family living only an hour away and they will play a large part in our child’s life. We will not only have family gatherings on holidays, but also on weekends and they will share school and community events with us as well.
