David & Liz are hopeful adoptive parents from Virginia waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

So let's start at the beginning. David was studying music, while Liz was focusing on biology. We met through Church, which is the greatest place to meet your future spouse! We were close friends for over 2 years before dating. We only dated for a short time before knowing that we belonged together. After a 3 month engagement, we were married in 2001 and celebrated our 11th anniversary this year, 2012. We hoped to start our family early, but we have been unable to have children. We are thrilled with the idea of starting our family through adoption.
We live in a rural community with our two dogs, boxer-mix Molly and beagle-mix Joe, and a bearded dragon, Francesca. David is the band director at the local high school, while Liz teaches biology at a community college and previously worked at a Veterinarian Clinic before completing her Master’s degree. David is a jack-of-all trades; he can work on cars, computers, is a great handy-man, loves sports, and fishing. Liz has just started her new hobby of photography; she took a wonderful trip to Costa Rica with her college in March. She loved it, loads of animals/insects, zip-lining and white-water rafting! Check out the pics in the album :-) We both enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors; kayaking, hiking, fishing, anything and everything outdoors. We are both very active in church and in our community. David is currently serving in the Men's organization and is also the chorister at church. Liz teaches Sunday School and is the women's choir director.
After adopting, we plan on teaching our children strong values; to know right from wrong, be truthful, and to love and respect God and his creatures. Our child will spend lots of time outdoors, learning and appreciating the world around them. We both have extended family close-by and they will play a large part in our child’s life.
