Keith & Stacie are hopeful adoptive parents from North Carolina waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Welcome
Hi! We’re Stacie and Keith LeGrow from Raleigh, North Carolina.
We admire your strength and courage in considering open adoption. For a long time, we have longed to welcome a child into our arms. We are so grateful that open adoption gives us the opportunity to begin the family we’ve always wanted. We hope this letter gives you a glimpse into our life together and our commitment to loving and supporting our child unconditionally for a lifetime. We can't wait to meet you and we wish you peace, love and wisdom as you make your decision.
A Little About Us
We have been together since 2001 and married in 2006. From the beginning, our relationship has been built on love, commitment, honesty, and respect. We support each other's goals and work toward mutual family goals, like financial security and raising happy, well-adjusted children. Frequent, deep communication is one of the tools we use to stay connected. We have regular family meetings and encourage each other to talk through problems as they arise. We share the same zany sense of humor and love to laugh and play. The challenges we’ve encountered on our journey to parenthood have strengthened our love for each other and enhanced our ability to support each other through tough times. We believe these experiences will deepen our profound gratitude when we hold our beautiful child for the first time.
Our Family
Stacie's sisters, Aunts Kathy and Wendy, and brothers, Uncles Michael and Robert, are eager to meet their new niece or nephew. Grandpa Mike and Grandma Dot live nearby and are delighted about spoiling a new grandbaby. Keith grew up in Newfoundland, Canada. Keith’s brother, Uncle Roger, in Alberta and Grandpa Herb and Grandma Shirley in St. Johns will be important influences in our child’s life. Grandpa Herb is an amazing organist who looks forward to instilling a love of music in his first grandchild, while Grandma Shirley will expose him or her to all the natural wonders in St. Johns, like whale watching or seeing a real iceberg in the harbor! Everyone in our extended families is excited about the arrival of our child, who will be welcomed with too many hugs and kisses to count.
Our Home
Our home in Raleigh, North Carolina is in a safe neighborhood with many young families and a pool that our child can splash around in with other neighborhood kids. Raleigh is consistently voted one of the best places to live in the U.S., in part because of its excellent local schools and numerous children's activities. It will be so fun to see the delight in our child's eyes as he or she pets a baby chick at the State Fair or learns what makes lightening at the Marbles Kids Museum. Our dogs, Lola and Teddy, are sweet-natured, lovable animals who will happily tolerate the exuberant hugs of a toddler and participate in endless games of fetch.
Our Values
We plan to share our strong values, like faith in God, gratitude, humility, determination, and compassion with our child. We have always enjoyed participating in children's charities such as the Oxford Home for Children, Special Olympics and Guardian ad Litem, and hope to instill positive values in our child by participating in child-centered volunteerism as a family.
Our Careers and Interests
Keith is a computer analyst and Stacie is a corporate attorney. We both have stable careers with flexible schedules that give us lots of free time to spend together as a family. Keith has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and loves ice hockey. He is looking forward to showing our son or daughter how to lace up skates for the first time. Stacie loves reading and longs to cuddle with our child at bedtime and read 'The Velveteen Rabbit'. She is also very creative and will love teaching our little one to make things by hand.
Together, we love to travel, cook and ride our bikes through our neighborhood. When our child is older, we'll enjoy teaching him or her how to ride a bicycle so we can go on family rides.
