Our Story Hello! We are Scott and Andrea from Georgia. We're excited about growing our family through open adoption and look forward to building a relationship with you and learning about your hopes and dreams for your baby.

We met 13 years ago, and soon realized that we wanted to spend our lives together. We were married in 2001 and have been inseparable ever since. Our close relationship is built
on mutual respect, friendship, and love. Becoming parents is something we have always wanted and we are excited about adopting. We can't wait to share our hearts and lives with our child!

Andrea is a kindergarten teacher and loves spending her days with children. It makes her happy to see her students' faces light up as they learn new things. She will be home with our child during the summer and on all school holidays. Scott is the operations manager for a local import/export company. We feel fortunate to have flexible schedules that will give us plenty of time together as a family. We can't wait to sit together and have family dinners every night!

On weekends, Scott likes to work on cars and Andrea spends time sewing or doing other crafty things. Together we enjoy working in the yard, taking walks in our neighborhood, and spending time with our friends at church. We love watching movies and can't wait to curl up on the couch with some popcorn for family movie nights.

As parents, we promise to raise our child in a nurturing home with a lot of support and unconditional love. We will teach our child to value education and hard work. We believe in honesty and feel that open adoption is a healthy choice for everyone involved. Your child will always know how much you love him or her! We are committed to respecting you and would like to welcome you into our family in any capacity you're comfortable with. We look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you better!

Andrea will be an amazing mom because... *She is so creative! She can't wait to spend time painting or making Christmas ornaments with our child.

*She is an older sister to four siblings, so she knows how important it is to have a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on.

*She is a very nurturing person and is always thinking of the needs of others.

*She loves her kindergarten students and works hard to make sure they aren't just taken care of academically, but emotionally as well.

*She is an awesome aunt to her nieces and nephews! She loves to make up songs with the kids or sit and relax while reading stories to them.

Scott will be an awesome dad because... *He is such a funny person! He can bring a smile to your face whenever you're feeling down with a simple joke or witty comment.

*He is the best uncle! The little ones love to climb on him or sit on his feet as he walks them around the room!

*He gives great advice. He always seems to know the right things to say to make you feel better or help you solve a problem you're having.

*He is adventurous and loves to try new things! He can't wait to take our child on bike rides or hold his/her hand when riding a roller coaster for the first time!

*He is loyal to his family and the people he loves. When he says he is going to do something for someone, he always follows through.

Our Family & Our Community We feel blessed to have such an amazing family! Most of our relatives live here in Georgia. We also have family members close by in Florida and the Carolinas, and we love taking trips to visit them. Our parents will be a very important part of our child's life and are very excited about having another grandchild to love! There are also plenty of aunts, uncles, and cousins waiting to welcome a new addition into our family.

Our small town is a great place to raise a family and we love living here! We have all of the comforts of small-town living, but are also close enough to Atlanta for us to be able to enjoy the big attractions in the city. We are excited to take our child to Zoo Atlanta to check out the pandas! We are also near Athens, which is a culturally diverse town with plenty of family-friendly activities. We look forward to sharing nature and going on picnics with our child at Athens' Memorial Park.

Our cozy home is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Our big backyard is the perfect place for a swing set and family cook-outs. We share our home with our sweet dog, Roscoe, and our loving cats, Sasha and Ninja.
