David & Tammy are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.
If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthparent
We want to thank you for considering us as you move through your adoption plans. We believe your decision was made through faith, trust, and strength and we could not pretend to understand all that you are going through. You can be assured that the decision you are making will forever bless a couple that is ready to provide your child with a loving home. We appreciate you considering us to provide that home for your child.
We hope that this will give you a glimpse of our family and the life that we could provide for your child in our home. . . a home full of love, commitment, joy, faith, family, and provision in all ways. Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile and learn a little about us.
During this time, we will be keeping you in our thoughts and lifting you up in prayer as you put in place your adoption plans.
A Little About Us
We started dating in 2002 after being set up by a mutual friend. Quickly we learned that we had a lot in common and shared similar interests . . . graduating from the same university, going to sporting events, seeing movies and plays with friends, and just hanging out together. Dating life was a fun adventure! We were married in April of 2006 surrounded by many great friends and family. Since that very special day, we’ve so enjoyed the blessings of our life together. Great memories have been made traveling, celebrating holidays, and purchasing our first home together.
A little about David
David is one of the most loving, unselfish, and wonderful men you will ever know. I’m so blessed to be able to call him my husband and forever partner. David is highly respected by his co-workers in his job as a financial analyst for a transportation company. He is also taking part-time classes to pursue his goal of a PhD in history. David is a loyal friend and is loved by all who know him.
He will be the greatest dad - as he loves children and has had lots of opportunities to build into the lives of his many nieces, nephews, and friend’s children. During family gatherings he often ends up playing or hanging out with one of the kids . . . playing catch, shooting hoops, or playing Wii or Playstation. David is very loving and affectionate in his actions and with his words. He takes care to build up those around him and leads with a servant’s heart. David loves me unconditionally and he is ready to share that love as a father.
A Little About Tammy
Tammy is the most beautiful, kind-hearted woman I know. I am so blessed to have married my best friend. Her job as an occupational therapist involves working with children, where she is loved and respected by the kids she works with, their families and her co-workers. With the patience she shows, the support, excitement and enthusiasm she gives, and the passion she has for improving the lives of children--Tammy will be a wonderful mom! She provides guidance to and inspires those around her with her strength and compassion--she goes the extra mile and has an open ear (and heart) to help those who need a hand.
I am fortunate to be part of Tammy’s family. It’s easy to see how she turned out so great! We always have a lot of fun seeing her mom and dad and spending time with her brother and his family, who live in the same town. And our nieces and nephews are crazy about their Aunt Tammy! I am truly blessed to have Tammy in my life--she makes me a better man, and I know she’ll be a great mom!
Time with Friends
Friendship is a significant part of our lives. We have friends from all of life’s stages - high school, college, single-days and marriage. We have both been fortunate to have continued to blend into their worlds as family. We gladly accept the titles of honorary “Aunt Tammy and Uncle David”. Our friends know that they can depend on us to love and support them as they raise their children and they are constant sources of encouragement as we eagerly await our adoption. We are frequently attending birthday parties, baby dedications, special music performances, and the everyday events in their lives. Through time spent together, we have learned so much about what it means to be a parent. There are challenging days, but love always outweighs those times. We are ready to pour our love into the life a child . . . and so are our wonderful friends!
The Holidays
Spending time with family over the holidays is a very important part of our lives. We are fortunate that our families are close so we see them often . . . but holidays are always extra special! Aunts, uncles, and cousins also live just a couple of hours away. We get together for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Birthdays and any day we can sneak in as a holiday! Occasionally, we will go on holiday trips with our families. A fun trip we remember is our Christmas trip to Disney World and Universal Studios. Our families have a lot of love and hugs to share and they can’t wait to celebrate the arrival of a new grandchild, niece, nephew or cousin!
Us at Home
Our home is definitely a place we like to retreat to and we so enjoy spending time together here with friends and family . . . or just the two of us. We have a wonderful backyard just ready for a great swing set and plenty of room to run around. We are surrounded by young families. Several parks and the elementary school are a short walk from our home and our church home is in our neighborhood. We can’t wait to bring home a special addition!
Thank You
Thank you very much for taking the time to learn about us. We admire the decisions you are making, and whether we are part of them or not, we commend you for your courage.
We are grateful that you are willing to consider an adoption plan for your child, and we know that your decision is made out of the greatest love. Please know that we wish you peace during this time and that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are truly excited about becoming parents, and are ready to provide a loving and nurturing home.
Blessings,
David and Tammy
