Freddy & Eileen are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birthmother: Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile book. We’re excited to share our story with you and so grateful to you for giving us this chance. We’ve been dreaming of having a family and raising a child for a very long time. The thought of making it a reality is both humbling and thrilling.

We greatly admire and respect you for choosing to create an adoption plan for you and your baby. We can only imagine how much courage that must take. We wish you strength and hope in your journey, wherever it may lead.

About Us:
We met through friends thirteen years ago and have been married for nine. We're so happy to have found each other and look forward to sharing our happiness with a child through this incredible gift of adoption.

We love to explore new places and have traveled all across the country and overseas, from Europe to South America. Whether we're traveling or at home we like to stay active by hiking and biking in the great outdoors. Most of all we love spending time with family and friends. Lately we've had fun playing with the newest member of our family, Henry the pug. In the summer we like to vacation at Eileen's beach cottage and cool off at our neighborhood pool. On a typical weekend, we like grilling and entertaining friends, hiking with Henry, playing tennis and checking out the latest movies. We always spend the holidays with family. Christmas is our favorite time of year because of its childlike wonder and the hopes and dreams of a new year and what it could bring.

Our marriage is built on a strong foundation and we know that the great love and respect we have for each other will be transformed into the great love and respect we will have for your child.
Freddy on Eileen:
I was taken by Eileen the minute I saw her. What I love most about Eileen is her thoughtfulness, her sense of humor, her creativity, her intellect and her overall lightheartedness. She happens to be the most talented writer I know. When she's not writing she's an avid reader (she loves mysteries) and a big yoga enthusiast. She also loves hanging out with her friends.

Eileen is the youngest of three sisters. Her oldest sister was adopted, as were many of her cousins. Adoption has always played an important role in her life and now in our life together. She grew up in a suburb of Washington, DC and went to college on the East Coast. She also studied abroad in Ireland. She went on to get her master's degree in journalism and has been writing ever since.

In the thirteen years we've been together, she has taught me so much about living life to the fullest. Our friends and family love her and our many nieces and nephews adore her. She genuinely lights up their lives (and mine). I know she's going to be an amazing mom.

Eileen on Freddy:
Freddy makes me laugh every single day (especially when he doesn't realize he's being funny). He's loving and kind and is always trying to do what's right. He's the kind of guy who people just want to be around.

After growing up in Texas, Freddy went to high school in El Salvador before coming back for college and business school. After getting his master's degree, Freddy went to work in the technology industry. His job in finance includes traveling to Latin America.

Freddy's a huge live music fan. He enjoys playing soccer, tennis and golf and he's even a great cook (he learned from his mother). He's also involved in our community and sits on the board of a nonprofit.

I love Freddy more than I could possibly say in just a few paragraphs. He’s an incredible husband and I know with all my heart that he will be an incredible father.

Our Family:
Our families have blessed us in countless ways, since childhood and into adulthood. We've loved watching our family expand to include our four wonderful nieces and six nephews, three of whom are triplets (yes, triplets!). All of the cousins and grandparents and aunts and uncles are very excited to welcome a new baby into our family (and as the youngest cousin he or she will be one spoiled baby). Freddy's family lives in Texas and we see them regularly. Although Eileen's family lives out of state, we see them often throughout the year. Some of our best friends, who we consider family as well, live just minutes away from us.

Our Promise to You:
Nine years ago, we made a solemn promise to each other in front of God and our family and friends. Our deep commitment to each other will be a commitment to your child, an unbreakable, unshakable family bond. We promise to love him or her unconditionally, with all our hearts, for the rest of our lives.

You will always be a part of our child's life, and he or she will know all about the difficult and incredibly loving sacrifice you made. If we are lucky enough to have you choose us as parents, we will never forget how your decision changed our life forever.
