Dear Birthparents: Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little better. We hope that as you read through our profile you can come to know us as much as possible from a typed letter. Katie and I have been married for 4 years. We met each other through my grandma trying to play match maker. After Katie and I met we quickly developed a friendship that would turn into something so much more profound in the years to come. We both knew how crazy we were and still are about each other. We learn that in life so few things are 100% and certain to happen. Our marriage is one of those things that is certain, we make sure to keep our marriage the strongest it can be. We both have been taught since childhood the importance of strong families. After we were married in San Antonio we moved to Richmond, Texas where I (Seth) already had a job working as an accountant. Katie is one of those kinds of people that everyone loves, so she was able to get a job working in the same field (Dental) that she previously had been in San Antonio. Katie works as a receptionist at a dental office within 3 minutes from our home. Her hours are very flexible and gets off of work early on some days. Since we both work for now my mom has happily offered to watch our child until I finish school. Once I finish school that will allow Katie to stay at home with our child.

About Seth and Katie Hi my name is Seth. I am the youngest out of 2 brothers and 1 sister. I grew up in the Houston, TX area. I attended BYU Idaho for a few semesters, then went on a church mission to Sao Paulo Brazil where I had the chance to represent my church and my Savior. I served there for 2 years. I then came home and made a plan on what I was going to do which consisted of returning to Idaho for school. Well it did not go as planned, it was better. I met back up with Katie. We knew each other before my mission, so when I came back it took me a couple of months to get in touch with her. Finally when we got in touch with each other, we started dating, then we got engaged and married. I had a job already here in Richmond TX, so Katie and I decided it would be great to live here. I love to do things around the house, which entails mowing, washing our vehicles, playing games with Katie and looking at cars on the Internet for the fun of it. I work doing accounting and finishing my degree to become an certified public accountant, that way Katie can stay home one day with our child/children. I love to come home everyday to see my wife, and can't wait to see our child that we will one day adopt as well!!! I am looking forward to that special day.

Hi my name is Katie. I am very active in my life, and love to be around kids!! I am the youngest out of 5 kids in my family. My hobbies are singing, crocheting, cooking and playing with kids!!! Being able to interact with the kids brings great joy into my life. I live in Richmond, TX where I work at a dental office as a receptionist. I enjoy where I work. It is very flexible and provides a good environment. I love our home that we live in, which is 3 minutes from my job and our church building!! Our child which we receive through adoption will love the neighborhood, us as parents, and our surroundings. There are a lot of kids, so we know that he/she will not have a hard time finding good friends. I am so thrilled for that moment of welcoming a child into our home:)

Our Home In December 2010 we purchased our first home and love it so much. We are so grateful to be able to live in a beautiful area within a great school district. We knew after much thought and prayer it was in this area where we wanted to start our eternal family. We both come from strong loving families that have taught us how to live a respectful and fun life. We both know the importance of the family unit and how that is where true happiness comes from. We know that it is within the home that the most important principles are instilled in children. We both believe that a solid foundation of church, education, and adventure is needed for a child to grow up happy and healthy. As parents we will be loving, caring, fun, involved, and be supportive to our children. We eagerly look forward to the many recreational activities that our children chose to take part in, such as soccer, baseball, and other sporting activities. We will be, without a doubt, the parents cheering for our kids from the sidelines. We also can't wait for the many chances to help our kids with their school projects. We know that it is the everyday activities that turn into life long memories for our children.

In Conclusion We love the idea of an open adoption so you are able to know the child is well taken care of; if that is something you want. We are very excited to be able to adopt because Seth's uncle and aunt have expressed the joy it brings into their life since they have previously gone through this process. We are ready to receive that same joy into our home, family and life. We want you to know that we are very loving and will put our heart and soul into our family. Though we may not know you we understand the difficult choice you are having to make. We love you and are eternally grateful for you and how you might bless us with a miracle.
