Terry & Melissa are hopeful adoptive parents from Indiana waiting to adopt a baby.

Getting to know us We met on a blind date, never guessing that within four years we would be married. Our relationship is one full of compassion, trust, stability and a strong love for each other flourishing into many years of being as one. We cherish every moment together, whether it is taking vacations, going on walks, family cookouts, swimming in our pool or setting on our deck enjoying nature. We look forward to playing outside in our large back yard with our child.

We enjoy traveling and can’t wait to show our child all the possibilities the world has to offer. A topic often discussed is our first family trip to Disney World and experiencing the amazement on our child’s face by seeing Mickey and Minnie Mouse for the first time.

We enjoy the serenity that nature offers, and hope to share our passion for nature with our child. We can already picture summer days giving him/her the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors by handling frogs and collecting flowers leading into evenings of catching fireflies.

Terry enjoys playing golf during the warm summer mornings and in the winter months are spent working with his hands in his wood shop. He has created a lot of beautiful hand crafted items for family and friends. Some of the items that both Terry and I are proud of are: A beautiful toy box for our niece, a lighted wooded cross for our friend, and various yard items.

Melissa enjoys winding down the day with a good book. She envisions herself with her arms wrapped around our child reading together as they journey to the wonderful world of imagination.

Terry through Melissa's eyes Terry is a very compassionate individual who is always there to inspire, uplift and motivate me. Being around him gives me the courage and belief that I can achieve anything; he truly enjoys life and loves to help others. He takes joy in the simpler things in life. His reaction to seeing a baby smiling and laughing just warms your heart. Terry is so true to nature, he loves the outdoors and being active in whatever he does. I look forward to watching him teach our child to ride a bike, swim in our pool or any other activities our child wants to pursue. Terry will be on the sidelines coaching and cheering our child on and taking pride in his/her accomplishments.

Terry's view of Melissa Melissa is a person with a heart of gold. She loves spending time with kids and gets great joy from employees bringing their children to work where she is a human resources administrator. Melissa can’t wait to see the first Christmas and Easter through our child’s eyes. She will definitely keep our child busy with new adventures like teaching him/her to cook, playing board games, and spending time in our big back yard or area park to play. I am sure she will convey her love of animals and caring for others as a cornerstone to our child’s personality.
