Dear Special Someone, First let us tell you how much we respect and admire this selfless act of love you have chosen to make. We cannot begin to imagine the strength and courage it has taken to get to this point. We have been praying for you daily since we made the decision to adopt - for wisdom in making decisions, strength throughout this process, and peace with whatever path you choose.

It is impossible to show all we have to offer in this short profile. We hope through this glimpse into our life you are able to see just how much your baby will be loved, cherished, nurtured, and guided. We promise to love this precious gift from God unconditionally and always be there to support them.

Thank you for taking your time to learn a little about our family. We pray that what you see here touches your heart and is what you are looking for in a family. Should you choose us to love your child, you will be completing our family and we will be eternally grateful.

About John & Shana JOHN (through Shana's eyes)

John is an outgoing and compassionate man. He never meets a stranger and will talk sports or politics to anyone! He always puts his family first before work or other activities. School programs and family gatherings are first on his calendar. He loves the Lord and is a wonderful spiritual leader of our family. A former choir director, he now works in real estate serving churches and schools. He enjoys playing sports and attending games, coaching our son's sports teams, singing in our church choir, and spending time with family. John is a devoted father, caring husband, and faithful provider. He is such an encourager to all and always has a smile on his face.

SHANA (through John's eyes)

Shana is an amazing wife, daughter, and friend. She is talented and works very hard to give her all for her family and friends. She is a wonderful teacher and continues to use that gift at home with Ethan, tutoring math, and teaching Ethan and his friends at church. Shana is an amazing cook and talented baker. She makes and designs every one of Ethan's birthday cakes and has made many for friends. As class room mom, she goes the extra mile to provide an awesome environment for Ethan, his classmates, and teachers. Shana is dedicated, diligent, and faithful in every area of her life.

Us As a Family Our son Ethan is a happy fun-loving 6 year old boy! He loves to play with other kids and is always creating some kind of game! He is very patient with his friends' younger siblings. He loves interacting with them and showing them how to do things! He is very excited about becoming a big brother!

Having fun is what we do best! We love to laugh and joke and just have a good time! When the weather is nice we like to be outside at the arboretum, park, or pool. We love playing all kinds of games - board games, on the Wii, or ones our 6 year old son makes up! It is a rare occasion that we do not eat dinner together. That is an important time for us to reconnect and listen to what we have each done during the day. We love to celebrate birthdays in our family! It is usually a week long celebration that consists of special meals, treats, & surprises (and of course a very special cake)!
