Brad & Barbara are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Parents, We cannot imagine how difficult this decision has been for you. We understand it is important for you to know that your child will be loved and will grow up happy. Our goal as parents is to create a home that will be the foundation of a successful adult.

Adoption to us means an opportunity to build our family though the precious choice you are making. After we were married we really wanted to have a baby. We tried for three years without success. Our doctor told us adoption was our best option.

Our promise to you as adoptive parents is to provide stability, love, encouragement and security to your child. As the adoptive mom and dad we will make sure our child knows that they were brought into this world by a loving choice of wanting only the best for our child. We will make sure they know they are special because so many people love them so much!

Our Story

As cheesy as it sounds, we are one of the Match web site couples like you see on TV. We met in 2007 and married in 2008. It was strange but we knew when we met we had found that perfect match.

Barb works for a children's group home in the Human Resource department and Brad is an Accountant for a large manufacturing company.

We are super happy to have the opportunity to share our profile with you.

We are both originally from St. Louis. We grew up 20 miles from each other but never met until years later when we moved to a new town.

Having a child in our life has been a dream of ours since we were married. Although we were not able to have children on our own we feel so very blessed to have the opportunity to build our family through Adoption. The Adoption Plan you are creating is an amazing gift of LOVE.
Brad through Barb's eyes

Brad is the kindest person I have ever met. He is a care taker through and through. This is the guy who will stop on the side of the road to help you if you are in need. For years, Brad volunteered as a fireman for his home town. He attended college and worked full time and still found time to help others. He was eventually promoted to the rescue unit and worked with the Jaws of Life to evacuate people after a car crash. After he graduated with his first degree in Finance and then a second degree in Accounting he moved to a new town and had to hang up his fireman's hat. Although he is still always there to lend a hand to anyone who is need. Brad is calm, courageous and focused. Last year when my mom fell and broke her leg, Brad was right by her side to hold her hand until help had arrived. He is a committed husband and doggy dad to our Boston Terrier Emma. Over the past four years I have seen how much he wants to be a father. I know in my soul that he will be that dad who is at every soccer game, rain or shine, every dance performance, every parent teacher conference, every victory won and there with a strong shoulder for every tear shed. Brad is the kind of person people want to be friends with and I am so blessed to call him my husband.
Barb through Brad's eyes

I am so very proud to call Barbara my wife. Being married to her truly brings out the best in me. Her smile can brighten any room and her sense of humor can bring me to tears. Sometimes we laugh so hard I am left holding my sides. Barb is always ready to learn new things. Whether it be playing golf or riding her own motorcycle she gives no less than 100%. Her non-judgmental outlook on life is reassuring to people. I think it is her open minded attitude that makes people want to confide in her and look to her for advice. If I am having a challenging day she is always there to reassure and comfort me. One of Barb's greatest loves is animals. She is kind to all creatures big and small. If a grass hopper finds his way inside our home you can bet it will be caught and set free in the front yard (I have been designated the official catch and release captain of our home).

For almost a decade Barb has worked for a nonprofit children's home that cares for abused and neglected children. I know her passion for children and have no doubt she will be an awesome mom just as she is an awesome Wife!
Emma came to live with Barb when she was 5 weeks old. She was a gift from her best friend Devin. The vet said this was too early to wean a dog but Emma's mom had problems feeding her puppies. Barb fed her a formula that the vet gave her and Emma did very well for a while.

Then at 15 weeks Emma became ill with parvo. The vet told Barb that a puppy that small would not survive and trying to save her would be very expensive. At the time Barb was new to her job, single and did not make much money, but that didn't matter.

As you can see Emma is a Healthy and Strong 8 year old Boston Terrier. She is an amazing dog that loves people and is so sweet with kids.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us! We want you to know our house is warm and loving so we hope we were able to show you some of that through our pictures and stories. We believe that God has brought us on this journey and with His guidance we will know everlasting love. Our prayer is that you know peace and comfort as you travel down this road.

With Love,

Brad & Barb
