Joshua & Elizabeth are hopeful adoptive parents from Texas waiting to adopt a baby.

Dear Birth Mother, We would like you to know what a wonderful blessing you are to our family. We have been praying for you and this wonderful child. We’ve known that we were going to adopt since we got married and can’t thank you enough for making our dreams of parenthood come true. We can’t imagine how hard of a decision this is for you. Please know that we promise to love, nurture, and provide a wonderful Christian home for your child.

We first met at the end of 2007 in the singles class at our church. We got married on June 20, 2009 at our home church.

Joshua works as a Heating and Air Conditioning Technician. Some of his hobbies include working with electronics, "Do it yourself" projects, playing pool on our pool table, and working out. He also enjoys being a part of our Men's Ministry at the church we attend. From an early age, he learned how to bake and cook. He is always trying new recipes; some turn out good, some not so good. No matter what he is working on, he is his own worst critic.

Elizabeth is teacher’s aide at the local middle school. She works with a student with special needs. She enjoys going shopping, scrapbooking, and is a huge movie buff. She loves getting to spend time with her family and friends. She is pretty involved with our church. On Sunday mornings she helps with the four year old Sunday School class. On Wednesday night she works with the three and four year olds. She also help with vacation bible school every summer and help plans activates for our Sunday School class. Another thing she enjoys doing is volunteering with her college sorority. She helps them with their membership and recruitment. She makes sure that they have everything they need and are prepared for anything they might encounter.

We have two dogs Lucy Lu and Little Bit. Lucy Lu is our Terror Mix we got her in 2009 at the local animal shelter. She is a very loving puppy. She loves to sit in our laps and give lots of kisses. Little Bit is our Jack-Russell Terrier and rings true to her breads name. She loves to play with basketballs and tennis balls. Joshua got her in 2006 when she was a puppy. She is very sweet, loving, and full of energy.

We enjoy going to see Joshua family about once a month in Oklahoma. Joshua’s parents, David and Patrice, live on 20 acres. Joshua’s brother Derek is 10 years younger then him. He enjoys getting to spend time with him when he can. His family has a total of 120 acres, and has lots cattle and a couple of horses.

Elizabeth’s parents John and Kathy live close by and we see them at least once a week. She has a large family that lives within an hour of us. She is very close to her sisters Dianne, Stephanie and Jackie. She loves getting to spend time with them. We love getting together as a family about once a month for lunch and to celebrate an event.

We both really enjoy going to the state fair every October, concerts on the lake, movies and going to Rangers games. We also enjoy getting to hang out with our Sunday School class. We enjoy going on trips, paintballing, cookouts, and movies with them.

We also love going on vacation. One of our favorite places to go is to Mexico. We have enjoyed going to Cozumel and Cancun.
