Happy Halloween!

The first day of Nursery School. We can't believe the summer is over already.

Finally, a sunny day here in New Jersey.

Since it was raining today, we took Julianna to Build a Bear. Her favorite today was Hello Kitty. We are starting to have quite a collection. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

Happy Easter!

We all had a great time at the water park celebrating Julianna's and James' birthday. We may start a new family tradition.

We can't believe today our little girl turns 3-years-old. Julianna opened all her presents and ate a piece of her Sponge Bob birthday cake (she requested a Sponge Bob cake). Julianna's birthday celebration isn't over yet. We are going to an indoor water park this weekend with her cousins.
We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Julianna's birth parents for allowing us to be a family through the miracle of adoption. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

May your Holidays be merry and bright!

Julianna gets ready to set out and begin Trick or Treating. She is so cute, we got so much extra candy thanks to her. Julie kept wanting to go to just one more house. We had a great time!

Julie picks our family pumpkin. We can not wait for Halloween! We love the FALL season and also picked apples and starting baking pies that same evening for a party the next day.

Fun day at the aquarium. Julianna, Nancy and I spent a day at our local aquarium. Julie loved the Seals and Alligators best.
Summer was great, however went by too fast. We bought a pool this year. Julianna her friends and cousins had a ball in the water all summer long.
Learned today that I have another business trip scheduled for Bermuda next month (someone has to do it). It so happens that the time is right for Nancy and Julianna to join me for a long weekend. I look forward to showing them around one of my favorite places to be when I am away from home.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

We celebrated Vinny's mom's birthday in Flordia for five days and returned home today. The weather was a little chilly and very very windy. We had a good time just being lazy at the beach and pool. Looking forward to the Holidays that are slowly creeping up.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We found this touching poem on an adoption website. After experiencing the joy resulting from the adoption of our daughter, this poem is very meaningful and inspirational to us as we await the anticipation of further expanding our family through adoption.
We didn't give you the gift of life
but in our hearts we know
the love we feel is as deep and real
as if it had been so.
For us to have each other
is like a dream come true.
No, we didn't give you the gift of life.
Life gave us the gift of you.
Today is Thanksgiving! The three of us had a special family breakfast as we watched the Thanksgiving Day parade on TV. Julianna slept through the turkey dinner with our families. We are very thankful that we have such a special little girl to share this Thanksgiving with and many many more to come. We are looking forward to Christmas.

We cannot believe Julianna is 6-months old. It feels like yesterday that we brought her home for the very first time. It was an experience of a lifetime and we feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to be parents.
Now that we have settled in with Julianna, we feel the time is right to expand our family once again through adoption. We are looking forward to Julianna growing up with a sibling and to share the love we have in our hearts with another child.

Today our prayers were answered. We met Julianna for the first time and took her home. Words cannot explain what we are feeling right now. She is a beautiful baby and we love her so much.

We have a lot of love in our hearts to share with a child. We dream of the day that our prayers are answered.
