Mike and Laura are wonderful parents. They take the time to give undivided attention to all three girls individually and with the girls enthusiasm for life, that cannot be easy!

Laura and Mike have been wonderful adoptive parents. They are loving, consistent, good providers, and amazingly patient! I don't see how anyone could be better parents.

Mike and Laura are wonderful parents. Laura always wanted to be a mother, ever since she was a little girl. We were so sad for her when we found they were having fertility problems. They have been the best parents imaginable for their adopted children. They have lots of love to give. Any child who comes into their home will have loving parents and excited siblings!

It is an incredible privilege to be in Mike and Laura's home and watch what happens when two parents and three little girls love each other so completely! Not only is their great patience with Cam's handicaps, but every little girl feels important and both Mom and Dad take time to see that needs are met, feelings shared, and a full dose of giggles and laughter are enjoyed every day! Mike and Laura have so much to give - and while some might think that three is plenty for any family - any child who is given the opportunity to be part of this home will be blessed beyond anything their birth parents could possibly hope for. Mike, Laura, and both of their extended families pray that we will all have the opportunity of extending the love we all have for each other to another of God's precious sons or daughters who will come to bless Mike and Laura's family!

As I think about families, I realize that it takes special people to be able to adopt and love these children as if they were their own. Mike and Laura are those special people. The love they have for their girls is overflowing and you can see it in the girls. The girls are so happy and fun and you can see that the come from a happy home and a peaceful, loving home. Mike is such a peacemaker and help to Laura. Mike would do anything for her. Laura is so caring and gives her all to show her love and that she cares. They are patient and play and are involved in their children's lives. I remember their struggles with Cami and her disabilities and how worried sick they were when she wouldn't eat. Now she can eat us all under the table! But, the love and care that went into getting her to eat and be healthy was a huge sacrifice on their part. All the medical things that Cami has had to have seems to have never been a sacrifice to them because of the love they have for Cami. Hayley and Audrey are so happy and you can tell they feel loved. I love seeing pictures of them snuggled with dad on the couch or mom reading them a book. They also have a lot of extended family that love them all, too. We love to see them and Cami loves her Uncle Scott (pictured with this entry) and he feels the same with her. We were so excited when we were able to speak some sign language with her. She told us that she had gotten some new shoes and kept showing us. It was so cute. We love them all and are so glad they have come into our family.

I am one of Mike's 4 younger sisters, and 9 siblings. Mike has always been the most caring, patient and loving brother anyone could ask for.

When Mike & Laura adopted Cami, our family was so excited. We all felt so blessed to be a part of their lives. When they learned that Cami was going to have developmental delays and health problems throughout her life, though we were broken hearted that she would have to struggle, we knew that of all the people we knew, Mike and Laura would be able to handle it.

When Mike & Laura adopted Hayley and soon after had Audrey added to their family, they were finally becoming the family they always wanted. I know that though they have been blessed three times over with those beautiful girls, they have more love in their hearts and more love in their home that they want more than anything to share with another child.

Thanks for listening!

It is always so hard to know where to begin with Mike and Laura, how to let you see how truly wonderful they are. I am the third of Mike’s four younger sisters and have always been able to look to Mike when I need advice, help, or comfort. Even in his younger years he was the perfect daddy. When he married Laura and were able to see her amazing capacity to love and care for others and her sincere desire to be a mom, we all waited with excitement for the babies to arrive. As the years passed we all had to come to the heart wrenching realization that they would not be able to have children of their own. And then along came Cami!
How we LOVE Cami! We were so beyond excited when Mike and Laura were able to adopt Cami, we loved her instantly. And when the trials came with Cami, Mike and Laura seemed to handle them with such ease. I know it wasn’t always easy for them but there has never been a doubt about how much they love their daughter. And now as she grows and learns she has truly become a diamond in our family… I’m pretty sure if you put any one of us on the spot we’d tell you Cami was our favorite niece, or nephew for that matter (and there are 32 of them to choose from).
As things improved with Cami you could see the true desire that Mike and Laura had to expand their family… and then came Hayley! GORGEOUS and full of spunk we fell in love with her instantly as well. Audrey came shortly after and the two of them only 9 months apart make for hours of endless fun and laughter! But still with all the blessings and joy that have been brought into their little family’s lives, we know that their family is not complete, we are all waiting with baited breath for the announcement of the newest member of our family, waiting to shower them with every ounce of love we have in our hearts.

Thanks for listening…

This is the most amazing family. They are so loving and patient with their children. Laura has the most infectious and warm laugh, she is so talented and capable and everyone loves her. Mike is the tenderest and most thoughtful of husband and father and he adores his children. He is respected by everyone who knows him. They are both totally devoted to their children and unselfish. Their home is always clean and welcoming, good music is usually playing, and they sing a lot. They both come from large and very supportive extended families. Their adopted children are loved by everyone in their families.

Mike and Laura are two of the most wonderful people I know. When they were not able to have children of their own my heart broke and I wondered why these perfect parents with SO much love to give were not blessed with children of their own. And then their little family began to grow. Three little miracles have come along. What a joy it has been to see the love they have for their children. Their home is full of happiness and laughter and love. Their home is one of our favorite place to visit. It amazes me how well they work together as parents to make their home run smoothly. You can see the love they have for each other and the love they have for their sweet girls. They are such a blessing to all of us.
