Skye keeps talking about her baby sister. She really wants to have a baby sister in the worst way and is convinced that she will have one or that one is on the way. She even picks names for her sister. Of course she would be happy with another brother too! We hope and pray everyday that we will be blessed with another child to add to our family.

Yippee! More baby chicks have hatched! Newly hatched chicks are the cutest little things. They look like fluffy ping pong balls. We are officially up to 60 chickens now-yikes! So many people want to buy eggs from us we bought more chicks a month or so ago and now one of our hens hatched some too. I really love sharing my passion for animals with our kids.

We just came back home from our yearly trip to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN. We love it there so much!!!! The theme park is wonderful and there are so many neat things to do in town. We spent 3 days there, but next year I would like to spend a whole week. We have such a great time being together as a family!

We planted this years garden. I can't wait to see how well everything grows. We planted tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, watermelon, pumpkins, green beans, and corn. I still have a lot to learn about gardening, but it is a lot of fun to learn.

Today is our 11th wedding anniversary! Every year is more amazing than the last. We are so lucky that we found each other. I love Michael so much!

We just had our 3rd annual Easter Egg hunt today. It was great! We had even more people than last year. We had somewhere around 250 kids and 2400 eggs. We had a GREAT TIME!

We have finally finished Skye's bed. It looks like a cottage. It holds a twin mattress up top and a twin or full below. Skye loves it! Now I need to paint her room a pretty pink and paint some flowers on the bed. We just love being able to do these kind of things for the kids!

We went on a mini vacation today to the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. You can "mine" your own diamonds and semi precious stones. We had a great time digging in the dirt. We didn't find any diamonds, but we found a lot of neat rocks! Maybe next time we will get lucky and find a HUGE diamond ; )

They're here! Toby and Trenton our miniature donkeys are finally here. They are the sweetest animals and LOVE attention.

More great news! We will be getting one more puppy and both of our miniature donkeys this month. Things are exciting here in TN!

We have a new puppy!!! A fox has been stealing our chickens, so we bought a livestock guardian dog-an anatolian. His name is Jed and he is the best puppy in the world. He is very calm and gentle. The kids are thrilled to have a puppy.

We had our anual easter egg hunt at our house today. It was so much fun! This year we had over 100 kids and over 2100 eggs. We even had baby chickens for the kids to love on.

"Big Mama" hatched 4 babies today. It is so wonderful watching her be a mama. The kids are thrilled to have new babies to watch.

One of our chickens has gone broody! If all goes well we will have some new baby chicks in 2 more weeks. The kids can't wait for the eggs to hatch. Since we have sent the roosters to new homes, this will be our last chance to hatch our own eggs. We are so eggsited!!!
