Here we are at almost 4 months! Krystal is still the light of our lives. She is learning so much so fast! She is already starting to teeth. She is smiling and laughing and everything goes straight to her mouth. She went into her crib last weekend. I think it was harder on me than it was on her! I miss being able to look at her in her bassinet all night long. She is sleeping well though. We can't wait for her dr. appt next week to see how big she is. She is definately going to be taller than we are. She is so beautiful and special. We love her very much!

Happy 4th of July! We watched our fireworks at the D-Backs game. Krystal is the D-Backs smallest fan. She has been to a ton of games and loves the fireworks! She is very intrigued by them.

Here are our 3 babies! Krystal, her cousin Tyler who is 26 days younger than her, and Emma who is 9 months. The 2 girls were holding hands! I think they remember each other!

Here is our new family! Krystal is 22 days here. It is amazing how easy it is to change your routine to accomadate a new family member! It feels like we have had her forever. Even getting up every 2 hours at night does not seem as bad as I thought it would. We count our blessings everyday.

We are home! Our family put pink balloons all over town to announce our arrival and decorate our house! It was great! We are so excited to be home! Yay!

We stopped by to see Cammy's family on the way home. We are so lucky that Krystal was born close to both of our families. Tomorrow we will leave on the last leg of our trip home. Only 10 more hours to go! Krystal is so good at all of this traveling. She just sleeps and we stop every couple of hours to feed and change her. She is such an angel. This picture is Cammy's grandma. Krystal is grandkid no. 13!

We are able to leave Colorado today. We are excited to go home, but sad to leave Mark's family. We were hoping to stay another week, but Mark needs to get back to work. We stopped by Michelle's house on the way home. It was great to see her. We had a great visit with her but had to leave too soon. We have to get on the road again.

Today was Mark's moms funeral. It was such an emotional day but Krystal was such a blessing to the family. She represents new life in our family and has been such a comfort to Mark's dad and others. He is a very proud papa.

We are leaving the hospital! Today was a very emotional day. Michelle was so strong through all of the paperwork and we are so proud of her. I hope she realizes how special she is and how much she has given to our lives. Little Krystal is a gift from Heaven and she will be so loved in our home. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Michelle and will keep in contact with her. She is not only the birth mother to our child, she is almost like a sister. We love her so very very much. I know she will receive so many blessings in her future and know Heavenly Father will always be there to comfort her.
We are on our way back to Mark's dad's house as his mom's funeral is tomorrow. Again, we know that grandma was there with Krystal before she was born and has been able to love on her with all of her heart.

Last night was great. I was able to stay the night in the room with Michelle and Krystal. She hardly ever fusses, but eats and poops alot! Guess we are going to get used to that! We have spent a lot of time with Michelle's family and I am so glad that she is blessed with such a great support system.

Here she is! Krystal was born at 3:17 this afternoon weighing in at 6 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long! We are so excited and very blessed. Michelle let me be there for the delivery and I was able to cut the umbilical cord! Michelle was so strong throughout the delivery and is so special. I just love her so much and know she will have so many blessings in her life. She is just so great. Krystal is a little angel. She is so good and strong. Perfectly healthy!

Mark's mom passed away this morning. It was something we did not expect. Michelle has not had the baby yet so we were able to make the 4 hour trip to Mark's parents house (we are very blessed that we are so close to be able to do this). We are very sad, but know that grandma is up there meeting our baby right now. She is able to give her hugs and kisses and let her know how special she is and how much she is loved already. We spent time with Mark's dad and made the funeral arrangements. Michelle's brother just called and let us know that she is in the hospital so we are driving back to the hospital tonight.

We are so excited! Michelle called and told us that her dr. told her she was going to have the baby anyday. My sister and I hopped in the car and drove all day and all night to get here. Now we are just waiting and waiting :-) Mark will be able to come up on Friday. I am hoping he will be here for the birth. MIchelle is so sweet and is holding up well.

Last night we had our ward fundraiser to raise funds to send our young women to camp. We had a great turnout. The girls taught our ward some of the fun things they do when they go to girls camp each year. They taught them some fun songs, did some skits and we had a singing tree at the end. It was a wonderful night. The girls did an awesome job and the ward really supported us.

Today we went to the D-Backs game. It was a lot of fun. They are on fire this year. We just can't wait to buy our baby's first D-Back Shirt! They are so cute!

Last night we got back from our Colorado trip. We had a great time and enjoyed the cool weather. The snow was beautiful. Mark's dad was so excited to have all 3 of his kids at home together. It has been awhile. We also met some new friends on this trip which made it extra special. We met our wonderful birth mother, Michelle. She has blessed us so much by choosing our family to love and raise her baby. She is so special and we love her very much! We are so excited to see our family grow!

We are busy today getting ready to go to Colorado to visit Mark's family. It is a long drive, but will be worth it. Mark's brother is also coming up so all of his family will be there for his dad's birthday. It has been awhile since we have all been there together so it will be a special birthday. We have to dig out warm clothes as it is only supposed to be in the high 40's there and we are used the 80's already. Brrr! I am going to enjoy seeing the snow again!

We just got back from our camping trip. The whole family went along with all of our dogs. There were 9 of us and 6 dogs. We have 6 dogs between the 4 families so when we all get together it feels like we have a dog kennel. The dogs all have fun together and live to go camping. We had fun on this trip, but the guys all had to do some heavy duty work on the trip. Friday we left to go to our usual spot in the mountains and found that there is still 2 foot of snow in places. Needless to say we managed to get both the truck and the RV stuck in the mud! They guys worked on it for a while and finally had to jack up all the tires on the truck and put rocks under them so they could get some traction on the tires. We then decided to just camp where the RV was stuck and hope that the mud dried enough in the next couple of days to get out. Today we jacked up the trailer and put rocks under those tires and the mud was dry enough for the truck to get hooked up and we just backed it right out. Shew! We always have some kind of adventure on our camping trips, but it is usually some sort of repair on the RV. This was the first time being stuck!
We played lots of games and just relaxed. The dogs had a great time playing in the snow. A couple of them have only seen snow once or twice and a couple of the puppies have never seen it. They liked rolling around in it for some reason. It looked like they were trying to make doggie snow angels! We can't wait for our next trip to see what adventure is awaiting us next time :-)

We had a great weekend. Saturday we had all of the family together and colored eggs, ate chicken, deviled eggs and potato salad and played games all day and all night. All of us girls took some time out to go shopping for our new nursery also. We can't wait to put it all together! Sunday we went to church and then came home to another family dinner and watched movies together. It was a great weekend with all of our family together to celebrate the beauty of the Atonement. We are so blessed to know that we will all be together forever. The picture is of Mark and our niece Emma taking a nap after eating all that good food!

Today we went to the Rockies and Mariners spring training game. It was hot, but lots of fun. After that we went to a movie and had a nice dinner together.

Today was a fun day. We took our young women to the temple to do Baptisms for the Dead. Then my Laurels and I were able to go to the college pool with the Young Men and the scouts where they were able to participate in a "discover scuba" class.

Yesterday afternoon we went to the Diamondbacks 1st spring training game in Tucson. They tied it up with the Rockies. We took my niece Emma to her 1st game. She was the bell of the ball!

Last night we held our New Beginnings program for the young women in our ward. Our theme this year is Mosiah 5:15 "Be Steadfast and Immovable, Always Abounding in Good Works". I am so proud of our young women. They are very strong and special. We gave each of them a dog tag to wear with their name and the theme on it so they would always have it with them.

Here we are at our ward's valentine dance. We had a lot of fun. We danced to lots of 80's music. It brought back a lot of memories of high school days! They had a table with pictures from couples early on in their marriages. It was fun to try to guess who everyone was.

This has been a busy week. We called our ward camp director last sunday so her and I have been busy putting ideas together for the camp fundraiser. We had all the young women over to our house for mutual on Wednesday and made plans for a "Night at Girls Camp" fundraiser. We are going to have lots to eat and the girls are going to teach the ward some camp songs, do some skits, and have a bake sale. We are going to decorate with lanterns, flashlights, tents, etc. Can't wait! I have waited years to be able to go to girls camp, but have been unable to due to my old job. Now that I have a flexible schedule (I work with my brother-in-law), I get to go to camp! Yay!
