As we are finishing this profile the first snow of the winter has fallen here. This morning we had coffee and pumpkin cake with some friends from out of town, who brought us a wreath and some chocolates. After that, Eric put the lawn mower and motorcycle away in storage for the winter, and made sure that the snow blower was ready for service. Then he put up the Christmas lights. Nancy got out the Christmas decorations and put lights on the tree. After dinner we finished decorating the tree and thought about the people who had given us various ornaments through the years, while Rusty tried to steal things from the boxes. We are looking forward to decorating the tree as a larger family in the years to come.
