We've currently been approved for adoption for 9 months. We were chosen by a birth mother through our agency very quickly after being approved. We hurried to ready a nursery for the baby, but to our disappointment the birth mother changed her mind after she delivered. While this was difficult for us, we know that the right opportunity will come, and we will add a special child to our family through adoption.
