Lisa recently placed a request at work for a part time teaching position. She found out today that her request was approved. We are so excited! It has always been our goal to be at home as much as we could with our new baby. As a matter of fact, we plan to have one of us home full time for at least the first six months that the baby is home. Because we are both teachers, we will always be home full time in the summers, too. We truly cherish time at home with our kids and building relationships with them.

Since we are teachers, we are looking forward to a longer Christmas holiday break. We are going to be visiting with our extended families on Christmas day. The girls are excited about the vacation we are taking in Door County, WI for a couple of days after Christmas. We are going to rent a log cabin and spend some time sledding, snow shoeing, ice skating, and sipping hot cocoa in front of the fire place. We can't wait to share more family outings like this with another child!
