November is "National Adoption Awareness" month. This is a very special time for us since Sam's birthmother met us for lunch and chose us to be his parents on what turned out to be the first ever "National Adoption Day" in 2005. I can't help smiling with hope that we might find our next match this month too! :-)

BOO! We had so much fun dressing up for our niece's Halloween-themed birthday party today.

"Chef Sammy" helped bake some yummy banana nut bread today. Sam loves to help!

"Bumper bowling" is just one of the many fun kids clubs Sam enjoys in our town.

Hello again!...We just re-activated our profile after having a failed match this spring. We completely support her decision to parent her baby. We wish her and her baby all the best! We're grateful for her honesty and heart-felt sincerity. We are humbled that she chose us to be her baby's parents. Even though it didn't work out, she has given us hope that God will soon lead the baby who is meant to be part of our family to us by touching his birthmother's heart. She will feel it when God leads her to us. It is all in His hands.
