We have started a whole new chapter in our lives - Anna started preschool today! We believe that education is very important and we feel fortunate that our children will have every opportunity to explore their passions.

When the temperatures rise, we spend a lot of time swimming in the pool.

Birthdays are special for children - that's why we have multiple celebrations with family and friends!

Although the calendar said that spring began a few days ago, it is slow to warm up here in northern Virginia. That hasn't kept us from enjoying the outdoors. Sometimes we are outside riding bikes in our winter coats and mittens. :) We had a wonderful Easter celebration with Erin's parents and one of our nieces who made a special trip with Nana and Papa to visit us.

Christmas through the eyes of a child is magical. This was the first year that Anna really got it. She loved the music, the lights, and the stories; and we appreciated it all that much more. We were able to enjoy a white Christmas in Wisconsin with our family.

We are looking forward to a new year full of love and happiness. Happy 2008!
