Last night we had our annual St. Patrick's Day celebration dinner. The kids loved all the fun decorations and the fun green-colored food we had. It was so fun to see the excitement on their faces when they saw the balloons attached to each chair and the fun hats for the boys & crowns for the girls :)
Some friends of ours who have a daughter they adopted around the same time we adopted Jacob got the news on Sunday night that they had been selected to adopt a baby boy who had been born last week! They brought him home on Tuesday and he's so cute and little and sweet. We're so happy for them. Adoption is such a miracle!

Today after church Bethany asked Matt to please read her some stories... so they snuggled up on the couch and read together. Jacob immediately went over to hear the stories too and I had to snap a picture, it was so sweet. Matt is such a loving father to our sweet kids.
All the paperwork is being mailed in today... so hopefully we'll be live in the next several days. Yay!!
Yesterday was a fun day. I love Valentine's Day. I spent the morning helping Jacob get his Valentine's cards ready for Kindergarten and helping him decorating his Valentine card box. It turned out really cute, he's such a creative kid.
Last night we had our annual Valentine's Day dinner as a family. I decorated the table really cute... the kids favorite part was the red heart goblets they got to drink out of. We had a delicious dinner with ham, mashed potatoes, spinach salad and apple-grape sparkling juice to drink. After we ate I passed out the little special valentine's gifts to everybody. I love that we celebrate the love we have in our family for Valentine's Day each year. It is such a great tradition. Matt & I will go out this weekend to have a Valentine's date just the two of us.
I just started working on our profile yesterday. I'm excited to get it finished.
