Although it was a lot of work, we had a blast at Eliska's school last weekend. It was the annual Garden Day, when all families are invited to help in the school garden. The kids love their gym teacher and he had them running around and playing all sorts of crazy games when they became bored with helping in the gardens. When the gardening was done, we enjoyed a big pizza party inside.

We went hiking and exploring in the Delaware Water Gap area of Pennsylvania this past weekend. We had some wonderful, warm, sunny weather for our trip. This wraps up Spring break. We enjoyed some lazy afternoons with friends and lots of bike riding over the break.

Spring is here. Around here, that means enjoying the flowers, planting our summer garden, long afternoons at the playground, and making summer plans. We are looking forward to making a connection with an expecting mom and to preparing our family and home for a new baby.
