Christina, Jade and Jade's step-sister at the "fly-in for kids" day - what a blast!

Today Jade and I celebrated our one year match anniversary through Big Brothers / Big Sisters!!! We went to the local office to sign papers for another year and we had our picture taken again. I'll post it as soon as I have a copy! I am taking Jade and a friend to Cedar Point to celebrate as soon as school is out for the summer - we are both looking forward to that :)

Here is Christina's Goddaughter Madinina, she lives in Boston. Her Mom is from France and her Dad is from Martinique. They are a very international family.

Mocha = Mischief!

This is Mocha - out little black kitty. She plays fetch with paperclips if she is in the mood and if you ever lose an earring you don't have to worry because it turns up in the food dish the next day!

She loves cucumber - if we are making dinner and she hears a cucumber being peeled she is right at your side bumping into your leg until you give her a slice (she has eaten corn-on-the-cob, too) - no kidding!

This is Cinnamon - she is really affectionate. At night in winter she scratches my head with her tooth until I lift the covers so she can snuggle under them where it's warm!

She also greets us in the morning by flopping down on her belly and rolling back and forth until we pet her on the tummy to say good morning.

This is the Francois-Saint-Cyr family. Christina met Alexandra while working in Boston in 2003 and Christina is Godmother to their daughter Madinina. They live in Boston, but they are visiting us in Michigan this summer!

This is Irene and Volker from Germany and Poland. Irene worked with both of us in Germany and really wanted us to get together so we named her maid-of-honor when we got married. She speaks 5 languages!

This is the Stiedl family from Germany. Christina met Jochen while working in Germany in 1996. They came to visit Michigan last summer and we went up north together - their two daughters loved it!

This is Marc and Sabrina. We met them in Germany in 2003 and they have since moved to Spain. Christina is Godmother to their son Wolfgang and she is very pleased that they are moving to South Carolina this summer!

This is the Sears family, they live in Boston. Rolf met Mark and Lucinda at college in England and Germany. They came to visit us in Michigan last summer with their son Daniel and daughter Caroline.

This is Shelly, Rob and their son Trevor. Christina met Shel and Rob at Ford in 1992. They have recently adopted an adorable little boy and named him Zak.

This is Karen - she is one of Rolf's best friends from college. She lives in Munich and we went skiing together a lot when we lived in Germany. The three if us went on a vacation to South Africa and it was great!

Let's introduce you to some of our friends...
This is Kevin and Ann - we hang out with them and play games at their cottage in Northport. Their dog's name is Seamus. Christina met Kevin at Ford in 1993.
