Well we are just under a month away from adopting. We are so excited, we have had some contact with the birth mom and she seems like a very nice person and look forward to getting to know her better. We can't want to be parents we are counting the day down only 29 more to go. :)

This picture was just too cute. Marcel fell asleep with Lola sleeping in his lap. They slept there for about an hour. I just had to take a picture.

I hope every-bodies summer is going well. Marcel and I have been staying busy. We have been repainting the trim on our house and getting the yard looking nice. We have had lots of fun over the last month buying a bunch of baby stuff to get a room already for a little one. We can't wait to be parents, it has been our dream for almost 7 years now and it feels like we are getting pretty close.

Well it is the 4th of July today. We are having a great day, we are about to go over to My sister Chloe's house and have a big BBQ with her family and my parents. It is a great day here today for a BBQ. It is about 87 degree here at our home. We enjoyed this great weather yesterday by going out to a River and relaxing. We thru tennis balls in the water for our dog Lola she must have gone after those balls 100 times yesterday. It was really funny as soon as we got in the car to go home she flopped down in the back seat of our truck and took a nap on her back with her legs in the air. We have been having a great weekend and we hope that your is just as great. Have a Happy safe weekend and enjoy the weather.

Our Niece Jailyn and her Uncle Momar (Marcel) are having some fun in the Jungle Jim at Mc Donalds. Marcel was dressed up as a Big Mac, he was helping to raise money for the 4-H club. Marcel does little work shops with the girls that asked him to dress up. He does little work shops at work and shows them how to make dog mushing gear and lines. He also helped them out a few years ago and dressed up as a giant girl scout cookie , he helped them sell a bunch of girl scout cookies that day.

We had a really fun birthday party for Marcel and Jailyn. We went for a monkey theme, it was a lot of fun. I made my famous Fatman Pie. It is mostly pudding creme, and cool whip it is a huge hit every time I make it. I always have to make 2 for get together, if my Aunt gets word that there might be some Fatman Pie she start salivating and has to have one to bring home for herself, it is really funny.
I thought it would be funny for Jailyn's cake to put trick candles on it. She started blowing them out and after the 3 or four time of blowing them out she just walk away. Hehe, I guess she was not ready for trick candles yet.
We have been having a good spring so far, we have been doing a lot of spring clean up in the yard. Getting the brush cut and clearing, we are getting ready to put in a few fence and yard. We have been taking down our old fence. It was made with these huge beams and nails. It looked easy at first now I am so tired but we finally got the last of it taken down. We are trying to get our yard fenced in and a nice new grassy yard put in for when we have children. We have this big large area sent aside for a big swing and jungle jim. Hope all is going well take care and we cant wait to get to know you.

So guess what? Summer has finally come to town. We are so glad to have it here. I went out and bought a bunch of flowers to make our back yard look good. My favorite thing to do in the summer is be outside cleaning the yard and taking care of my flowers. Flowers get so large here because we have so much sun light. We have about 18 hours of sun light right now but by mid June we will have about 23 hours so it never really gets dark here. It can make trying to sleep a little hard and night but I love the sun. It is so funny because when it is dark here at night it is always cold, and when ever we get down to the lower 48's I always get excited to run around in grass when it is dark out, it is funny but it is such a strange thing for me to see.
So on Sunday my Sister Chloe' and I are throwing a big Happy 29th Birthday for Marcel. Marcel's birthday and our Niece Jailyns Birthday are only 3 days apart, so we always have them together. This year Jailyn is 5 and we are having a sponge bob themed birthday, Marcel is very happy. Last year we had a Strawberry Shortcake Princess Party, he is a great sport, he is just happy to have a get together. I will come back in a few days and show you some pictures of his party.
Just remember that you are a very strong person, and we cant wait to get to know you. We have a big extented family and love the idea of making it bigger.

Good Day

We got back from our vacation to Pensacola Beach in Florida. It was SOO much fun. We went to a zoo and checked out some cute animals, there were peacocks walking around every where that was really neat. We went to a aquarium and saw some really cool fish and watched a Dolphin show, it was really neat the dolphin jumped up and took a fish out of a girls mouth. We drove over to Alabama one day and the best southern BBQ ever. The rest of the time we spent at the beach swimming in the cool water. We were the only ones brave enough to go in the water. Being for Alaska I am not afraid of some cool water. This was the best trip that Marcel and I could have ever had. We cant wait till we go on vacation next I know by then are family is going to be a little bit bigger. Marcel cant wait till our children are old enough to go to Disney Land he wants to go really bad!!
The weather has changed so much since last time I left a message it is now in the mid 60's in the day time and most of the snow has melted. I even saw a Mosquito yesterday, I guess that means spring is on the way.

This is a pic of me on the beach the last day we were in Florida. We went to the beach to relax before we had to start our 15 hour plan ride back home.

Well springs is coming slow to Alaska this year. Winter is really trying to hold on. We had about 3 days of great weather, it was so nice I went outside WITHOUT a jacket and was starting to clean up the yard. It was starting to look like a really nice spring. Then is SNOWED :( about 2 inches. It is melting but not very fast yet. I have already pulled out my summer sandals. I guess I will have to wear then around the house :)
In about a week Marcel and I are going to take a quick vacation down to Florida, for a little sunshine and to take a walk in the sand. We cant wait. We have never been down there before. I enjoy living in Alaska, but this time of year we all are so ready for sunny weather. It is pretty crazy, it is only 20 degrees outside but give it two or three weeks from now and it will be 80 degrees outside. It is Amazing how fast the snow melts when it starts.

Well we had a great Easter. Marcel and I went to My Mom Connie's house. We were there with our large family. We made color eggs with our Niece Jaiyln and had a big Spaghetti dinner. We also celebrated our Niece Ally's first birthday, she is so cute she is so much more hyper then Jailyn she is so much fun to play with. We got Ally some really cute cloths, I got Jailyn a little present to open when her sister opened all the presents. I got her this really cute Jelly Belly Bear with a purse in its belly it was Pink, her Favorite color. Jailyn is the Princess of the Family her nickname is Tinker Bell, she refers to herself as Tink, it is really cute.

We are so happy to be finally online it has been a long journey to get here, it feels great to be ready for any potential situation that comes up.
