The quilts are complete! I've been sewing like mad and have finally finished the quilts- one for our birth mother and a matching for the baby. We look forward to meeting them both!

It has been a very busy summer. We had another adoption garage sale last week. What wonderful support we have from friends and family. My quilt is coming along and we look forward to a new addition to our family.

Adoption Fundraiser Garage and Bake Sale!

We are so lucky to have such a supportive adoption team. With the help of many hands our adoption fundraiser was a huge success. The entire process was tons of work spread over several days with lots of sun, high humidity, and luckily just a little rain. We had lots of opportunities to speak Spanish and talk to people about adoption. We feel very blessed and can't wait to welcome a new addition to our family.

I've been wanting to do something to prepare for our birth mother and baby. I've decided to make matching quilts. It's a lot of work, but will be worth it!

We have been approved for adoption! Our home study is complete as well as the paperwork. We are excited to welcome a little one into our home and hearts.
