We're so happy that Autumn is here. It's my favorite season because of the weather, the smell of Fall, baseball playoffs, football season, baking apple cakes (one of my classics that seems to never get old), cooking chili, and on and on and on. We're coming up on our 2nd wedding anniversary soon and think we'll head down to Cape May for a romantic weekend. It should be fun- if we ever get it planned!

I can't wait to show Dave one of my favorite spots of all time in two weeks- the north fork of Long Island. My aunt and uncle and cousins will be out there and it's always a nice, relaxing, fun time of drinking wine from the local wineries and picking produce from the fields of their farmer friends.

We're driving up to JoAnn's mom's in upstate NY for the long holiday weekend. We both love it up there- wonderful fresh air! We'll golf and play tennis a little and just hang out the rest of the time. While we are sad that summer is ending, we both LOVE autumn. It always brings wonderful new things into our lives. it'll also be our second wedding anniversary which we'll celebrate down in Cape May this year. Every month there seems to be a celebration of some kind. Always good.

We had a blast down at the shore again this weekend at our Goddaughter's first birthday party. We wish it was us throwing the party! The weather was a perfect 10- sunny with a breeze and just great to be alive. We're lucky to have such wonderful family and friends and we can't wait to welcome a new child into the group. They will be loved and loved and loved.

We're on vacation at the Jersey shore and the family and friends keep visiting! I think we'll need a rest from our vacation. Our neighbors, sister & nephew, cousins were here. JoAnn's three brothers and families arrive tomorrow and every bed and couch will be taken! We expect to spend more time on the beach, playing frisbee and building yet more sand castles, and eating great bbq food and seafood. We're anxiously awaiting the time when we have or children on the beach with us. It will be SO great.

Well, it's been a fun weekend of seeing family and friends- there are lots of kids graduating this week and next week! Of course we think about having children and being proud of them as they make their way through life. We know that parenthood is in no way an easy job but we're looking forward to it because we know that we'll be loving providers to our children. We think of you often and how difficult it must be to choose parents that will raise your baby as you would like them raised. We hope you'll consider us.

We've had a pretty busy week so far and here are a few of the highlights. We had a small group of friends over for dinner on Saturday which was very relaxing and fun- lots of laughs and good food. We went to see the Yankees play in 98 degree weather! At least they won, and of course it was good to be at the stadium for its last season. I also went to see Robert Plant and Allison Krauss perform in Manhattan with my girlfriends last night -- they were awesome! Especially the Led Zeppelin tunes. Dave had dinner with a close friend of his. Our information on this website is almost done and we're so excited about turning it live. It's so new and so unknown but we know it will bring us such wonderful things. We're very ready to be parents and expose our children to music and baseball and wonderful foods!
We're looking forward to some gardening and R&R this weekend!
