It's been a busy few weeks. We are so excited to have been matched with a birthmother. We met her for lunch today and are thrilled and excited to become parents very soon. She is a wonderful person who is thoughtful and caring. She means so much to us already.

Summer continues to speed by. It's a gorgeous day today; sunny and mid 70's. We had a great time in Door County last month. Fun was had by all! This weekend we went to a friends' luau in Franklin, near Milwaukee and then had a great dinner with two other couples. Beth also went to the beach in Lake Geneva with her aunt, some friends, and their children. It was a relaxing day. Beth is beginning to work in her classroom to get ready for the upcoming school year. We are both looking forward to our nephew Will's baptism next weekend. We have been asked to be his godparents; what an honor!

Summer is flying by! We are excited about our family vacation this weekend. We are going to Door County with Beth's family; siblings and spouses, niece, nephews, parents and some extended family too! We hope to go hiking, fishing, swimming, and just enjoying the company. Sure hope the weather is nice! We look forward to sharing family vacations with our child in the future!

What a beautiful day today. It is sunny, breezy and about 70. I am beginning my summer vacation. I walked into town to run some errands and enjoyed the weather. Yesterday was Father's Day. We went to my aunt Jan's house and Andy manned the grill for us. It was great to spend time with family! This week Andy and I will be celebrating our 4th anniversary. He is taking 2 days off and we're going to Chicago for a nice dinner and to go to the Museum of Science and Industry. Fun!

We are so excited to be activated on parent profiles! We had a busy weekend with Beth's grandmother's 80th birthday party and her cousins' graduation parties. We are enjoying the nice warm weather and looking forward to planting some flowers next weekend. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
