Hi there... just checking in. We had my sister and her family in town for the 4th of July. We had a cook out with hamburgers and hot dogs on Thursday evening. Then on Friday, we all loaded in her van and headed up to Gettysburg, PA. We've never been to a Civil War Reenactment before, and we've always wanted to... well, this one is the biggest in the USA, so we though - "why not?" WOW! How interesting! My niece and nephew really loved it, and we are all so glad we went. What in interesting way to celebrate our nation's independence. We then drove all the way back down to the city, where we went up to my office and from the windows were able to see the fireworks over the harbor... so pretty!
These are the kinds of things we like to do. I want to share them with you so you will get a better sense of who we are. I want to be able to take my future children to see wonderful things like this... I want them to experience all the sights and sounds, while still learning about our history, and life, in general.
Have a great day! I'll check back in again soon!

Hey!
We just returned from a trip to Lake Lure, NC, where we met up with Steve's family to celebrate his parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary! How pretty it is down there. I went for my morning run along the golf course, and saw three deer and then a SKUNK! You know they are really cute when they are far away!
We had special dinners, desserts and even a vow renewal ceremony for Grandma and Grandpa. They were surprised and very pleased to be able to celebrate this milestone with all of their children and all but one of their grandchildren.
We went hiking (see picture - that's me at the waterfall overlook), did a good bit of hanging out, playing with our new baby niece and some even went to play putt-putt.
Since the kids all live in different areas of the country, we don't get to see them as often as we like, but we will see Steve's family again at Christmas, as we rotate back and forth, and this year is their year. So we will catch up with them again in a few months.
I know they are all hoping and praying for us to be able to add to the family numbers soon!

Hi, this is Andrea... we are getting ready to activate our profile, and are so excited! We've been doing other advertising for a while, and have had some contacts, but we are very excited about the possibilites with Parent Profiles.
We have purchased our nursery furniture, have received quite a few gifts (mostly clothing that is either yellow or green... because we don't know if we'll have a boy or a girl), and are working on finishing up the nursery decorations. We are so ready to fill our home with love and laughter with a new baby!
