Well here we are, the week before Halloween! Sam and I spent the day clearing the garden and getting ready it ready for winter. This evening we carved the pumpkin we got last weekend! It was a lot of fun. We tried a new technique I found on line so we had a few laughs trying to figure the whole thing out! It ended up turning out pretty cool. If I get a chance, I will take a picture tomorrow. The weather is getting colder and today was windy. It will be fun on Friday to see all the trick or treaters come to the door! The big Maple tree in our front yard is turning bright orange and many of the other trees around town are looking beautiful. I love this time of year.

We had a great time visiting Sam's family out of state. We finally got to meet our newest niece and get our baby fix! She's just adorable, and we just wish we lived closer so we could watch her grow up. I'm sure we will see that happen in pictures regularly. A friend of ours recently had a baby boy and I have been lucky enough to be able to see him, hold him and just gaze at his awsomeness. Sam and I are deeply engrossed in our favorite baseball team being in a pennant race, baseball is a passion in our household! Soon it will be time to go pick out pumpkins and take a drive to see the autumn colors. Time is passing so quickly...

We have been trying to take advantage of what we have left of summer. Soon we will see the school buses out, the leaves changing and the weather turning cooler. We have been spending time with friends & family. Soon we will be going on a visit to Sam's parents farm. We will be meeting a new niece and spending a lot of time with the rest of the family. We are looking forward to this trip!

We are celebrating Sam's Birthday this weekend. We really just did normal stuff, but went out to lunch and out for ice cream tonight with the dogs. It was a nice, relaxing day spent together. Once we complete our family, it will be even more special!

Well, we had a busy and fun filled 4Th of July weekend! It seems there is always something fun to do. All weekend Sam and I kept saying to each other, " I can't wait to do this with our child." Fireworks, picnics, visiting with family. We anxiously await the newest family member so we can experience all of these wonderful things in the eyes of our child!
