Happy Holidays to everyone!! We had a doctors appointment today with our birth mother, Baby and mother are doing very good with a nice strong heartbeat today as well! Wow it seems like the time is flying right by especially with the Holidays coming up on us as well, But I am almost willing to bet after New Years its gonna seem to take for ever for our little bundle of joy to arrive.. We would like to take the time to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving and Christmas!! And please remember to give thanks to your Birth couples because without them, adoptions just wouldn't happen, It takes so much strength and courage and most of all love for their little ones to give them a chance of a better life! So with that said if our Birth couple reads this..Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us and grace us with our future baby girl!!

HAPPY HALOWEEN!! We are spending tonight at Universal Studios going to Margarittaville and hoping to get a glimpse of Jimmy Buffet as he is in our state for the weekend!! Tomorrow we are hoping to go to lunch with our birth parents before we come back home after doing some baby shopping etc.

So we went to the doctors with our birth mother today for her ultrasound! OMG it was the most amazing wonderful feeling in the world to get to see this little angel baby before she is born!! Yes we found out she is defiantly a girl, not that it mattered but it just gives us the next 4 months to shop solely for a girl now. We hope our birth family reads this as you two have truly made us the happiest couple in the world and are so very grateful to you!!

We went to the doctors this morning with our birth mother! Wow it was sooo exciting!! She let Kim go in the room with her, so Kim got to hear the babies heartbeat. I came out absolutely glowing, Had to hold back the tears of joy in the room with our birth mother. We would just like to take the time to say that we feel so honored that this couple took the time to want to get to know us, and pick us to raise this little miracle baby! We go next Tuesday to view the ultrasound and are so excited for this.. To actually get to see our little surprise before He/She is born will be wonderful, And we will post more next week after the ultrasound.

We met with the birth couple today! It went so well, they are 2 of the most lovely down to earth couple. After we had lunch we talked a little more and they decided they was going to call us by the next day by 12, We all said our good-byes and left. With in ten minutes they rang our cell phone to congratulate us and said that we was the couple they wanted to adopt their child! OMG it was the most wonderful feeling in the world to be chosen for this baby! She is due Feb. 24Th so we just have a few short months to go, We will be counting down the days till the baby arrives, and can not wait to have our next luncheon with this wonderful couple!

Our adoption agency contacted us today about a possible birth mother who wanted to talk to us..We was so excited about this Kim called her pretty much right away lol. Things went well over the phone and We are going to meet her for lunch on Friday as she lives only an hour away! We just hope and pray we are compatible and god helps her in her decision making to decide if we are the couple that gets to adopt this little angel. :)

We are very proud to announce the newest addition to our family!

This is Kim's Brothers newest son Jacob born August 6th 2008.
He was a big boy weighing in at 8 pounds 12 ounces and he was 21" long.

They live out of state and we was there in June , We will be making a special trip up their soon to see and hold him in person. He is so beautiful and we can't wait to spoil him also!

We had an exciting week, Kim's Step daughter Bethany came to visit us for 6 days. We took them to Sea world on Wednesday and Friday we had fun on the boat! We had the family over for a cookout and had alot of fun in the pool.

She went back home on Sunday evening so now its just back to normal around the home

We are so excited to start our new life through adoption!
