Happy Memorial Day. The year is already flying by and we are already spending busy weekends. Our best friend's daughter is turning 1 next weekend. We are anxious to have our new little one soon, so they will be close in age and grow up together. We are looking forward to a fun summer. Planning on a trip out to Missouri soon :)

It has been a while since we last updated our Journal. Life gets way too busy. We headed up to Northern Arizona for our last big ski day for the year. They had wonderful snow and we had a great day skiing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Our dog always loves going up with us & getting long walks. We can't wait to take a little one with us to make snow balls, sled and play in the snow. Hopefully by next season. We are so anxious to hear from you. Give us a shout. Today is the big Super Bowl day. Kevin is a huge Steelers fan living in Cardinal country. We are going to have several friends over to watch the big game today. I am going to be excited if either team wins. I have become a Steelers fan by association...13 years of marriage, but have to also root for our Arizona Cardinals. It is so exciting they made it to the big game. We enjoyed a nice day at the FBR golf tournament in Scottsdale on Friday. We are so lucky to live in such a wonderful state with gorgeous weather year round. We are still so anxious to find the right baby for us. I can't believe we are in 2009. We had a great Christmas with our friends and their 6 month old baby girl. She is growing so fast & we have so much fun being around her.

We headed up to Northern Arizona with 2 other couples to spend New Years. We went skiing twice & had a great time. It looks like it is going to be another great ski season. Kevin and I really enjoy the serenity and peacefulness of skiing together and the fun of hanging out with friends in the evening.

We are almost at Christmas. It's amazing how the year flies by. We ended up not having the quiet Thanksgiving we had planned. My parents, sister and her husband and 2 boys came to Phoenix to visit us. We had a great time eating, visiting and went to a Phoenix Coyotes game. I think my nephews really enjoyed the hockey game.

We went to Puerta Vallarta for a few days at the beginning of December, and although Kristi had a bad cold, we still managed to have a good time. We went ATV'ing through the jungle and rivers & streams. I don't think we have been that dirty before in our lives :)

We have recently been in communication with some potential birth mothers and fathers and are getting really excited about the prospect of adoption and having a new baby for 2009.

I can't believe we are already in November. We are starting to decorate the house for Christmas, as we are hosting a big Christmas party for my work associates in early December. We are looking forward to a quiet Thanksgiving this year with some good friends up at our cabin. I wonder if we will have a white Thanksgiving. It has already snowed once in the last couple of weeks.

We have gone to a couple of great adoption classes in the last few weeks. We are so anxious to get to know potential birth mothers. We know that things will happen when they should, but are excited about starting a new life with a child. We look forward to hearing from you.

I can't believe it is Halloween time again. We are so excited to finally be getting our profile on line & can't wait to hear from you. We are looking forward to the huge Halloween party our friends Nanette & Josh have at their house every year. Everybody gets dressed up & has a great time.
We are also looking forward to seeing all the little ghosts & goblins on our street trick or treating on the 31st. Most of our neighborhood gets together & sits out in driveways. We are hoping for nice weather.
