Home is the sweetest place in the world. Period. There - I said it! I was in Provo last week and just got home last night. I've never been away for that long before - and I don't think I could stand it again. That, AND Provo is the driest place on earth. I seriously think my skin aged 5 years in 6 days. And I'm pretty sure my skin gave out a sigh of relief for the humidity when I stepped off the plane in NC. But the mountains were beautiful. And Provo redeemed itself with fantastic restaurants and Cinnamon gummy bears in the BYU bookstore. And many more women have been converted to digital scrapbooking, so I accomplished my mission, hahaha! I was so excited to head home and see David and Cammie, I didn't even sleep the night before my flight. And when I saw them pull up at the curb, oh be still my heart. My sweet girl was holding up a sign that said, Welcome Home Mommy! We just held each other all night. I didn't even want to send her to school today. Don't worry - I was a good Momma and took her. But I can't wait until 12 so I can pick her up and squeeze her some more. I'm so grateful for the sanctuary of our home. There is nothing sweeter than coming home to the ones you love. -Kristen

Today is THE day. We've been toying with the idea to list with Parent Profiles for well over a year. And today was the day we got the "nudge." It was the same nudge we got when we submitted our paperwork for adoption the first time. That feeling in your soul, that your baby is on the way and you need to hurry :-) We could barely get our paperwork in fast enough before we were chosen and our sweet Cammie was born. What a wonderful Christmas present that was! Hopefully the baby (or babies) meant to come to us will find us here, and quickly! :D We are SO ready.
