Hey there, since our last journal entry things have stayed pretty busy around here. Some good and some bad but everything has worked out ok. The bad; Tim's grandfather had a heart attack and was in the hospital for awhile, and Andrea's dad had to be in the hospital because he is diabetic and ended up with an infection in his foot which spread quickly. Both are now at home and doing much better I'm pleased to say.

The good; autumn nights spent around bonfires, a trip to the local pumpkin patch, our niece's birthday party, Family Fun Day at Tim's father's work (Tim won the limbo contest, whoohoo lol) a trip to Bowling Green, KY to Jackson's Orchard which was so much fun. As a matter of fact that's where the photo for this journal entry came from, someone was nice enough to snap a picture of the 3 of us on the hayride.

We have some great pumpkins and will be carving them for Halloween tomorrow night, Ally will be painting and putting stickers on hers of course but still, we can call that carving lol. Andrea's sister is throwing a Halloween party on the 29th, Ally will be a pirate for the party and Halloween this year. She looks so cute in her costume, we'll post a blog next month and show a picture of her from Halloween.

It's hard to believe the holidays are coming up on us in just a few weeks. Andrea's aunt and cousin and their family is coming to visit for Thanksgiving. They live in Arkansas so we don't see them as often as we'd like but we are looking forward to it very much. While they are in town we plan to go with them and take Ally to see ICE at Opryland in Nashville, this year their theme is Merry Madagascar which ally just loves.

Then Christmas will be here before we know it, we have a cabin reserved over in the mountains for 5 days and are having all our family who can come up. We can not wait for it all, we had hoped to maybe have a new addition to our family by then but we keep reminding ourselves that things happen when they are meant to.

Anyhow, Ally is in bed so we are going to watch a movie and then climb in bed ourselves, we just wanted to post an update on what was new in our lives to anyone who may be reading this. Take care :)

Hello, just wanted to post a little update. since our last journal entry we made it down to visit Ally's birthfamily in Atlanta, we only got to stay a few days but it was a really nice visit. ally had everyone laughing because she is going through a phase of continuously wearing everyone else's shoes, including her big sister Breyana's boots that ended up coming all the way up to Ally's thighs lol. It was sad coming home but I am sure we will see them again in another couple of months.

Since coming home we spend most of our time in the backyard playing on the swing set or going to feed the ducks at the park. Summer is winding down around here, the days are still hot but the mornings and nights are pleasant. It's like summer is trying to hang on with all it's might but fall is definitely on it's way. And it brings so much fun with it. Soon it will be time to go to the pumpkin patch and orchard, go to all the Fall Festivals and the farmer's market downtown, and have bonfires. Not to mention the leaves turning, possibly the very best time of the year for pictures.

It's been awhile since we've updated the journal. Been a busy summer, the 4th of July was fun. We went to Tim's Mawmaw and Granddaddy's house and had BBQ and then did homemade ice cream and shot off fireworks with all the family. Ally had a blast playing with all the kids there, the big excitement for her I think wasn't even the fireworks, it was the baby horse she got to see behind Mawmaw and Great-Granddaddy's house. Then of course she loves getting to see her Grandma and Granddaddy.

Since then we've been pretty busy but have still managed to sneak in a little time for swimming in the pool and playing outside. We're going to visit with Ally's birthfamily at the end of the month, can't wait to see them :D We're also going to go to the Atlanta aquarium while we are down there so we are pretty excited about that too.

Anyways for now I'm going to get off of here and get a little cleaning done around the house and then maybe go swimming. It had been really hot here the past few days with a heat index of about 113 but thankfully it's cooled down now. We won't boil if we try to go swimming now lol. Hey again :) Last weekend was too much fun, Tim and I went kayaking with my mother and her friend Teryl at Bledsoe Creek State Park. We spent a few hours paddling around, saw alot of herons, egrets and hawks which was pretty cool. I need to get a waterproof casing for my camera so I can take it with me sometime.

We got out and had a picnic for lunch then got back on the water for about 3 more hours, and loaded up the kayaks to come back to mom and dad's house. Ally of course had been having too much fun, she got to spend the day with Papa. so naturally she had been spoiled and had who knows how many horsey rides and treats to eat lol. We stayed and had dinner then hung out with mom and dad for awhile before heading home, by the time we got here it was baths and bed for all of us. We were wore out but in a good way lol.

I think we're going to be trying to go to the aquarium again sometime soon. We went back in February and had a great time, I'd love to go to the Memphis Zoo but will probably have to wait until the fall since it's already really hot around us. Maybe we can try out the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta and then get to see Robyn and everyone down there. (Ally's birthmom) We haven't gotten to visit with them since Ally's birthday in April so that would be alot of fun.

Hey everyone, it's Andrea updating our journal. Since activation we've been checking our email everyday and are so excited at the possibility of being contacted at any point. Today was a fun day for Ally and I, we spent alot of time in the pool and then one of our rabbits had babies a little while ago so we spent time playing with the babies and getting them used to being handled. They are such sweeties and growing so quick. I love Ally showing me where the bunnies nose is lol.

This weekend should be really fun, tomorrow we're going to spend the day lounging around and playing in the pool and cookout, then Sunday we'll be going kayaking with my mother, Ally's going to stay with Papa for the afternoon while we go. She'll have fun, she gets spoiled like crazy over there. Anyways if you are reading this I want to thank you, and hope you are doing well.
